Answer:	I believe so. I cut going forward then back instead of turning because my lawn is small. I never had a bad cut with this mower.

Answer:	I also live in Western Washington and left my mower in a lean-to type shed and it did not age well. Not only did the electronic parts degrade but the plastic parts also degraded. I suggest keeping in the most climate controlled space you can.

Answer:	You should never have more than a 5% voltage drop over the length of an extension cord. Given that this is a 10-amp device, for performance, cord durability, and most importantly, safety, you should have a 16 gauge cord for 50ft (4.2%, 5 volt drop), and 12 gauge cord for 100ft (3.3%, 4 volt drop) and 150ft (4.9%, 5.9 volt drop). Always err on the side of a larger cord (smaller gauge number is larger) when dealing with electricity, even though such cords are typically more expensive. $10-$20 can be the difference between working/broken equipment or something catching on fire. Be careful about someone using a 16 gauge cord under acceptable conditions, but then adding an extension and causing problems.

Good to know replacements are so inexpensive on eBay 🙃 I guess if you’ve never used a mower before you might wonder where the grass goes. I’ve never used a bag, never dethatched, my zoysia is more than 35 years old and very healthy. I consider the grass clippings a gift from God. As far as where does the cut grass go, it stays pretty much right there. This is a very small mower if you use it that way. If the green stuff is very tall, we just had more than 10 days of rain, then I cut little narrow swathes. It is a weed eater with a deck. I had breast cancer 4 years ago. The treatment almost did me in. Up until then I did my own yard work. I’ve paid hundreds of dollars hiring idiots to scalp my zoysia and then take out my roses, Japanese maples, fig trees, lilies and plants large enough to see with weeders. I bought this little guy for me to use as it’s small enough for me use to mow my uneven lawn and it’s hard to scalp s rise budh if the weeder stays in the deck. I love this little guy.

Question:	How long is the cord
Answer:	As several people have stated, it dosn't come with a cord. You must buy a separate outdoor extension cord long enogh for your use. One person stated he used a 100 ft 10 amp cord. I hope he ment a 10 gage cord. I wouldn't recomend running a 13 amp motor on a cord rated for 10 amps. I use a 100 ft 14 gage cord. 14 gage wire is rated for 15 amps, 12 gage for 20 amps and 10 gage for 30 amps. I find the mower runs on the 14 gage without heating the wire at all. If the wire gets hot, you are using to small of a wire. Go to a smaller gage number to carry more amps.

Answer:	No. It's not self propelled. It's very light until the bag fills up. You just need to empty the bag when it feels heavy. It's really for a smaller lawn. I wouldn't use an electric mower on a large lawn.

Answer:	Amazon's ad says 4 years. The bottom motor bearing just blew out on mine 2 months after the 4 year warranty expired so I guess I'm boned. I will probably buy the same mower again though. It has worked great up to yesterday when the motor suddenly just seized up. I borrowed my sister's 18" greenworks mower to finish the job. They both work (worked) great.

Answer:	A 14 gauge cord should be safe with a 12-amp mower. Some would recommend a 12 gauge cord if you need 100ft. The mower will have a bit more power with the heavier gauge (due to reduced voltage drop in the cord) but the cord will be heavier and more expensive.

Answer:	I have the 19 in with two batteries. It came with a 40v 4ah and 2ah battery. The 40v 2ah has lasted at least 40 to 45 min and its the small battery. I have never depleted its power doing my yard and back alley. We have bermuda grass and my yard in front is about 80 x 40 my back yard is about 30 x 60 then i have a strip in the back alley. I love this lawn mower so far. No fuss no muss and plenty of power for my yard. The power increases when it goes thru thick grass then runs slower thru lighter grass on its own. Its is much quieter than my gas mower and lighter as well even though the deck is metal. From my perspective my brushless mower is a winner.

Answer:	There are 2 things that are known to cause premature death of a Lithium battery - whether it's a leaf blower, cell phone, or electric vehicle battery: Excessive heat and excessive state of charge/discharge. Lithium batteries do best in moderate temperature range and moderate state of charge, i.e. keep them cool (but not too cold) and try to charge/use them within the range of 80% to 20% state of charge, as much as possible. These batteries do have built-in safety circuitry to prevent overheating, overdischarging, and overcharging, but the setting is likely a compromise b/w runtime and longevity, so if you want to prioritize longevity then you might have to compromise on runtime. I live n Florida, and have a 5 year old 40v GW lawn mower and a leaf blower, with one 4Ah and two spare 2Ah batteries with no noticeable reduction in runtime yet. They do get heavy use, so I was not expecting them to last this long, but I do follow a few simple rules to protect the batteries. : 1. Always store the batteries partially charged - somewhere b/w 1-2 LED indicators. 2. Answer:	You can mow without the bag or mulch plug installed, it will just do a poor version of mulching and you will have clumps of grass dropping out of the area where the mulch plug should be.

Answer:	I purchased mine from CPO last spring. It advertised having two 4ah batteries, but came with one 4ah, and one 2ah. I contacted them and told them that it did not arrive as advertised, so they sent me a second 4ah battery. I believe this was a temporary thing, because I keep seeing the mixed batteries being shown. If you purchase one that is supposed to come with two 4ah batteries, then make certain they supply as advertised.
