13 best spark plug with plasmacores
A spark plug with plasmacores is a specialized type of spark plug designed to improve the efficiency and performance of an internal combustion engine. These spark plugs are part of the ignition system in vehicles and play a crucial role in igniting the air-fuel mixture in the engine's cylinders.
Here are some key features and information about spark plugs with plasmacores:
Enhanced Combustion: Spark plugs with plasmacores are designed to create a more efficient and powerful combustion process within the engine. The plasmacore technology helps in achieving a faster and more reliable ignition of the air-fuel mixture.
Improved Fuel Efficiency: By providing a more efficient combustion process, these spark plugs can contribute to improved fuel efficiency. This can result in better mileage for the vehicle.
Reduced Emissions: Efficient combustion also leads to reduced emissions, which is beneficial for environmental reasons. Lower emissions help in meeting strict emission standards and reducing the vehicle's carbon footprint.
Durability: Spark plugs with plasmacores are often designed to be more durable and long-lasting compared to standard spark plugs. This can reduce the frequency of spark plug replacements, saving on maintenance costs.
Compatibility: These spark plugs are typically designed to be compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. However, it's essential to ensure that you choose the right spark plug for your specific make and model.
Installation: Installing spark plugs with plasmacores is similar to installing regular spark plugs. It's essential to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and torque specifications for proper installation.
Maintenance: Like all spark plugs, those with plasmacores require periodic inspection and replacement as per the manufacturer's recommendations. Regular maintenance of the ignition system is crucial to keep the engine running smoothly.
Cost: Spark plugs with plasmacores are often priced higher than standard spark plugs due to their advanced technology and potential benefits. However, their improved performance and longevity may justify the higher initial cost.
In summary, spark plugs with plasmacores are a specialized type of spark plug designed to enhance combustion efficiency, improve fuel economy, reduce emissions, and provide durability. They are a popular choice for those looking to optimize their vehicle's performance and efficiency within the realm of ignition parts and automotive replacement components.

Ignite Your Fuel with Plasma
Pulstar Spark Plugs use pulsed power technology to turn a small portion of gaseous air-fuel mixture into highly excited plasma that ignites immediately and burns quickly. This innovative plasma producing technology burns fuel more quickly and efficiently to enhance engine performance.
Pulstar Spark Plugs improve engine performance with plasma assisted combustion through the use of technology developed with the help of Sandia National Laboratories, a United States Department of Energy laboratory. Pulstar uses an internal capacitor to store energy delivered prior to the formation of the spark. When the spark is formed, this energy is released in a powerful, five megawatt, nanosecond electrical pulse. This intense pulse of energy interacts with the gaseous air-fuel mixture, converting it to highly reactive plasma. The plasma affected fuel ignites immediately and burns rapidly, igniting the remaining gaseous fuel by exposing it to a large surface area of flame.
Al Unser Jr.
Two-time Indy 500 Winner and Pulstar Performance Expert
Born into a family of IndyCar nobility and raised to uphold a racing legacy, Al Unser Jr knows about engine performance. The Motorsports Hall of Fame inductee began working with the Pulstar Spark Plug line in June of 2014. Prior to joining the company, he tested Pulstar on his 2011 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ. On average, Pulstar added 5 feet.-lbs. of torque and 5 horsepower. “I immediately noticed the difference: better acceleration, better mileage, and better drivability.”
Independent Testing
Captured by AVL using a process known as Schlieren photography, this video up top shows Pulstar’s 5MW pulse followed by the plasma affected fuel mixture burning at twice the rate of the conventional spark plug. Filmed at 64,000 frames-per-second, this independent third-party test shows a side-by-side comparison of Pulstar and the top-selling premium iridium spark plug. AVL is an Austrian-based automotive consulting firm and independent research institute and is well known in the automotive industry and among OEMs. Matthias Neubauer of AVL and Enerpulse’s founder and chief technology officer Lou Camilli co-authored a paper on this technology, which was reviewed and published by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Pulstar Capacitor
A typical capacitor has three parts: a positive plate, a negative plate, and a dielectric media. The positive plate attracts the energy while the negative plate provides it access to ground. The dielectric media prevents the energy from crossing between the two plates, forcing the energy to collect and be “stored” on the positive plate.
Pulstar Spark Plugs use the copper gas seal as a positive plate, the threaded metal shell as the negative plate – giving access to ground, and the insulator acts as the dielectric media that prevents energy from crossing between the two.
Pulsed Power
Pulsed power is the relatively slow accumulation of energy followed by its rapid release, resulting in the delivery of a larger amount of instantaneous power over a shorter period of time. Energy stored within electrostatic fields (capacitors) is released over a very short interval (a process that is called energy compression), delivering a huge amount of peak power. Pulstar Spark Plugs use a capacitor to store energy delivered by the vehicles ignition coil prior to achieving breakdown voltage (forming a spark). When a spark is formed, the energy stored in the capacitor is also released. This release of energy creates a pulse equal to 5,000,000 watts (5MW) and takes approximately three nanoseconds to complete.

Question: | I have a Twingo 16v model 2012 and Im not sure if I change my original spark plugs by this one my car will continue works |
Answer: | It was very good , very powerful , I'm so happy to drive my car . But after 3 month the engine trouble ! The Guy ,he change air compressor the car still trouble , and then I change all new coil but it not better..? Already over thousand of dollar! I have to go to dealer of infinity and change all NGK Nissan spakplus and the car smooth back but no more power like pulstar. |
Question: | Gap? For a ford expmorer 2013 3.5L |
Answer: | I would honestly just go with the recommended spark plugs. I didn’t see any real change in gas mileage and ended up replacing mine after about 10,000 miles as one went bad. I bought mine for a Volvo S 40. With a hybrid I would be extra cautious. |
Question: | Can it work with 2013~2013 Ford Escape(KUGA)EcoBoost 2.0T |
Answer: | From what I'm getting it is overall increase in HP. I just completed my first tank of gas and saw a 10% increase in milage. |

Question: | WILL THESE FIT MY 95 HONDA ACCORD EX |
Answer: | Don't know but again ask NGK customer support |
Question: | Are these platinum tip |
Answer: | You need one spark plug per cylinder. Adding a performance spark plug to my Camaro SS has dramatically speed up the take off. I found it doesn't just get 5.0 or less to 60 mph, but on my recent relocation to Florida it "hopped" like a rabbit around 75mph. With a slight tap of the gas pedal I was over 90mph pass trucks with unsafe cargo, with the race grade brakes it makes for a great match. I also added a new air filtrations system, another muffler, and an electric chip. The performance vent and spark plugs alone are a good investment. The only think I can do is add a performance CAT. I don't know if the plugs add 7hp more each, or as a group. My specialty mechanic put many items on and in the car, some just so it's beach ready. I have work on lights and the exterior as well. |
Question: | will these fit my honda polit |
Answer: | I’m sure they make them for multiple vehicles. I ordered a set for a Ford Flex. They went bad and damaged one of the catylatic converters. I went back to Motorcraft. Approach with caution! |
Question: | Will these work in hr15de engine |
Answer: | Pick the right model and year, they will. |
