Answer: I cannot recommend this part for a different motor. It works great on my 115 hp Yamaha outboard. I looked the part number up on the Wholesale Marine site. With that Yamaha part number Amazon offered a Yamaha part not in stock and a Sierra part obviously identical and in stock for a lower price. I recommend you get the part number for the engine you have and if it crosses directly to a Sierra number you can be very confident in the quality. Several other people I know that have various marine engines utilize Sierra with great success.

Answer: works for my 87 110hp so it ought to be no problem for yours. IDK if you can mount it anywhere but i just placed mine in the same area as the old VRO pump.
