It is sealed so you don't have to worry about oil leaking out if it does turn over. I turn it on with the heating element all the way up in my bedroom and it sits on the carpet and it doesn't have any issues with catching on fire. It does, however, keep my room nice and toasty at night in the coldest nights during the winter. just be sure you turn it off and unplug it when it's not in use for safety reasons. |
