Answer:	One on each end should do it. The Metal O-ring gasket on the inlet side might be re-usable.

Answer:	I assume it is... if you see my prior answers, I bought it because my cat was causing check engine light (CED) to come on and causing fail of NYS insepection. OBDII computer was indicating a bad cat... Toyota part was $1800-$2000 installed... I bought with the hope that I could avoid that cost... when I installed it, CED went off, OBDII said all was good and car passed inspection. UPDATE: About 1.5 years after install CED came on again. Before I could check OBDII computer, my son had an accident and car was totaled (everyone was OK). So I don't know if CAT went bad again - but I would say even if it did, it would be worth buying this to avoid absurd Toyota part cost. Good luck!
