Magnetic Door Switch

Plunger Micro Switch with Roller

A traditional mechanical plunger micro switch with roller, model TZ-6003, is not included in any of the series. (Door switch brackets are not included, refer to User Manual in Technical Specification section for detailed installation instruction).

It has to be installed accurately for pushing the rod on the switch to trigger. It has wear and tear issue. The 110VAC high voltage directly applies on the micro switch will cause sparks internally which lower the life of usage.

Front vs Top Air Inlet

Answer:	Mine only came with a 15’ 1/4” copper line set and a 16guage wiring kit...but the unit requires 14 gauge wire so you’ll need that and whatever length of line set you need. Mine works great but I had the lines professionally installed.

Answer:	I have mine inside my house, right above the door. Yesterday i watched a wasp trying to fly inside my house, when the air hit him, he went straight to the ground. Make sure your molding and window trimming is out of the way, it will work better on a flat wall, but i did not remove mine. Good luck with the flies.

Magnetic Door Switch

Plunger Micro Switch with Roller

- A traditional mechanical plunger micro switch with roller, model TZ-6003, is not included in any of the series. (Door switch brackets are not included, refer to User Manual in Technical Specification section for detailed installation instruction).

- It has to be installed accurately for pushing the rod on the switch to trigger. It has wear and tear issue. The 110VAC high voltage directly applies on the micro switch will cause sparks internally which lower the life of usage.

Front vs Top Air Inlet

- Front Air Inlet for FM-12 & FM-15 series, the air curtain can be installed right under the ceiling.

- Top Air Inlet for FM-35 series, which requires at least 2" clearance from air curtain top to ceiling.

- FM-12 series is very slim to fit in as tiny as 8.9" high.

Answer:	Looks like the same pattern and close spec. Amazon sells a replacement that is substantially more expensive and I am guessing that is why you are looking at this one. Here is the deal, first of all the bolts need to line up with your mounting holes, pretty sure they do, but this motor has extra long ones to be universal and you will need to cut them off with bolt cutters on one end.. If it is a different measurement game over, check before you buy. Second, this is a pretty universal motor, electrically is it pretty versatile. You do need to know what you are doing though. There are no clear directions. IF the previous motor was the same RPM and HP and the bolt pattern matches you are good if you know what you are doing. Again looks like it does to me. I would read real darn carefully and maybe Google around a bit more? If you are not real handy, I would say buy the direct replacement as you will spend the extra time and money trying to make this one work. Also as I have said before, look at the starter cap too while you are in there.
