Answer:	I didn't need a post so I didn't care. I welded two hinges on it a it was suitable for what I needed. Check on line for a metal supply store in your town. I don't think it's even .125 wall or .062, I can't remember but I don't think an 8 foot piece is that expensive. Beware, it all comes in pieces. In my opinion, you need to weld every joint. All the vertical pickets slide through the horizontal brace. You put everything together and it wobbles. I welded every joint and then it was sturdy. They're is only one vertical post if you were using it for a gate.

Answer:	I don't know which ink pad you are referring to. Look and the description of the product and it will tell you the size. If it is mini it will usually say mini in the product name.

Answer:	Picket fence is a dye ink. Glacier white is a pigment ink.
Question:	What is the max temperature this unit produces? Would it be too hot to use on an outdoor water bowl for animals
Answer:	I haven't used it on wooden surfaces. It is not a permanent ink. When it dries you can still wipe it off with something wet. I would use the Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Picket Fence Paint. It is still water-based and can be distressed but once it is dry it is permanent and covers well because it is an opaque product where as the distress ink is more translucent and doesn't cover well. I hope this helps. Sometimes these products can be confusing as to their different properties. You can also go to YouTube and get valuable information and demos.
