Question:	how do you know What wire is positive
Answer:	It comes with a 3- pronged plug that should fit into your battery. You never even see the individual wires.If you are panning to remove the plug and use the charger for something else and do not already know how to tell which wire is positive, I would suggest that you abandon the project!

Answer:	It's ok for rain and such, but obviously not submersible. It has the holes that the wire goes through the box.

Answer:	The charger does not keep the battery charged when the trailer is not in use it lowers the amperage from the alternator to not hurt the little battery.. If you can take the battery out and leave it on a 1 amp or smaller AGM maintainer until ready to use.

Answer:	While I don't know the amp hour rating you only need for it to work for as long as the trailer is free wheeling on its own after a breakaway.The storage capacity is less relevant than the current supplied being adequate to activate the magnets in the brakes. There is an easy test. With tow vehicle brake controller disconnected just pull the cabled pin and try to pull trailer. It should apply the brakes. Remember that the battery is recharged while towing when installed correctly. Easy install.

Answer:	is there any visible kinks or damage to the charger? leave plugged in for a while and see if it comes on after a bit..when I had a bad battery my charger was still flashing, so I would say look at the charger, or the power supply that it is plugged into

Answer:	Yes, mine did. If for any reason you don't get a cord, it uses the "standard" computer style power cord. They aren't very expensive and you might have a couple of them laying around.
Question:	I have a golf caddie battery that has a two wire connection. Is there a conversion method for this charger
Answer:	Yes there is a coversion method, but to keep things simple it would be better to find another intelligent charger. The charger is designed for absorbed glass mat (agm) batteries for wheelchairs. That is why it uses a 3 pin XLR cinnector. There is a possitive terminal and a negative terminal obviously, but the middle pin is the inhibit pin. On the wheelchair their is a safety link between negative terminal and the Inhibit Pin which prevents the wheelchair from driving while the batteries are being charged. Basically you don't need to use the inhibit pin connection. So when you make up your 3pin female xlr connection don't connect it to anything. You can find the wiring diagram on the net. Hope that works for you.

The only time either have had any issues was when there was either a loose wiring issue or your batteries are old and working the charge unit to death. Try having someone do basic maintenance on your mobility unit. Thank you.

Answer:	im not sure what a princess car is but this charger is rated for either 6 or 12v. beware though, the copy i got really gave a 11.6v charge.if your princess car has a squarish, lead acid battery, like a mini car battery, it should be good to go. know though, that this charger wont alert you to a fully charged battery. its a bit of a piece of crap.

Answer:	yes it is charged. I put it in a gas generator w/ elec starter. It started the generator right out of the box. I then put it on battery trickle charger.
