Question:	will it fit and work with my ford
Answer:	Most Fords have 65 group batteries in them some have 34 group all that don't matter what matters is what side the positive post is on. If the positive is on the right side then you will need a reverse post battery. I believe a 9020-164 has a reverse post. But for the battery box size these optimas are universal and will fit almost any battery box in the western hemisphere. So just take a peek at yours if the label is facing you and red on right then you have a reverse post, but if not then the standard 34/78 will fit perfectly. On the optima box it's self there is a packaging cover that comes will all optimas and. There is several adapters to make the 34/78 battery fit most cars and trucks.
Question:	Right now i have 2 yellow tops, 1 under the hood for engine, and 1 in the trunk for my sub. would i be better off putting a red top for engine/4eat
Answer:	From what I have been told---the Red top has higher initial cranking power and the yellow top has better storage capabilities---I have them on my trailers.

Answer:	Optima batteries are made in Mexico. They only honor the 36 month warranty on the 1st battery, not the replacement. Save your money.

Answer:	The Yellow Top might be better for your needs. Red Tops provide more cranking power. Yellow Tops provide more reserve if you listen to your stereo with the engine off. I had a Yellow Top in a car with an underdrive pulley on the alternator and a 1,200 watt system (RMS not that peak rating crap either) and that battery lasted through 5 years of torture.

Answer:	I believe all of them would fit into a 1979 MG Midget. They're not that small.....

Answer:	Yes, mine came with the appropriate spacers for my particular form factor. I have a 2001 f-150 and I am sure glad it came with the spacers because I had to use one of them to get it to fit. I comes in a box with the spacer inside of it. So as far as the spacers go, Optima thought of everything! I am very pleased with the product!
Question:	does this battery come fully charged
Answer:	Mine came fully charged, my vehicle indicates 12.0V (engine not running) and ~13.8 to 14.0V (engine running). I keep this vehicle hooked up to a Deltran Battery Tender and it did not take too long for the Battery Tender to register Green (fully charged) once hooked up (~a few hours or so).
Question:	I see concerns about an Amazon warranty after 1 year yet the warranty noted in Amazon for the red top is clearly 36 months. What's the real deal
Answer:	It's 36 months through Optima. Unlike going back to the parts store what you have to do is file a claim with Amazon customer service. They do all the leg work from there. So here is the issue you have to decide if it's worth it or not. It can take a week between customer service contact, optima approves, new battery received. Can you make it a week without a battery??I have only seen one issue with an Optima battery back when I worked at a marine dealer. We sold a hundred or so a year (was there 2-1/2 years). Mine is only a couple months old, but I did accidentally kill it installing amps, subs, stereo, and it recharged and has no issues. Hope this helps.

Answer:	il say this much I still have that battery it is very strong I like it but a cb amplifier I used it for it wouldn't cut it I also have high output alternator and super capasitors I will not dog xs power my opinion is it's perfect if maybe you have 4 of these battery tied together and a serious capasitor and a 370 amp Lehman alternator to fill it back up on amp I run for cb it sucks life out of this battery buy the huge 4000 amp still buy capasitor invest in 370 amp Lehman alternator and I'm saying keep alternator that's in car for its battery I'm saying add alternator separately on engine for amp use 0 gauge xs wire I'd personally call xs they can tell you as fast as amps rush out without a massive rush of amps in its pointless these my words not xs bank on what I say save you a bunch buy 4000 amp up grade power wire apply enough capasitor to help you 2 caps aren't enough to keep it up and to run all that keep car running

Answer:	Depends on the brand of amp! If its a true 3500 then youd want 2. Itll maybe keep headlights from dimming but i doubt it. I have one on a 3200 an my headlights still dim.

Answer:	I have two 15s with two 5000 watt amps and two of these batteries bang for hours and still starts my boat

Answer:	I would probably go with a bigger battery for such a capable amp (assuming those are 2500 watt RMS watts, not peak watts). I'm using this battery as my solo car battery for starting and a 1kw RMS zapco amp, and it keeps up nicely. You might want to use something with slightly higher capacity for two and a half times more wattage though.
