Answer:	beats me. i keep mine hooked up from 12/31 to 4/1 and only then do i take it off. my understanding is that you do not need to disconnect it-it powers down on its own, but you mught want to find the user nistructions and check me on that. good product if youre not in a hurry

Answer:	Charge for free! Buy a low wattage solar battery charger/maintainer at Harbor Freight instead because it works very well maintaining the battery charge provided that the battery is fully charged before hooking up this solar charger.... it will only maintain the charge. Not made to fully charge a discharged battery. Point the solar panel southwest to get the most out of the sunlight during daytime. I have used this $9.99 if on sale gadget for years now on my boat and car and has not failed me yet. It comes with all the hook up accessories needed. I have not used the boat for 2.5 years at a time and the gel battery is as good as when I installed it 7 years ago. My car wet cell battery also is as good as when I first installed it and I only use the car abroad every 12 months when I am in town for 3 weeks. Car or Boat batteries Gel or not will not last it's lifetime if it is always discharged and recharged. Maintaining the charge is key to it's longevity. Good luck! No need to blame anybody. Answer:	Stupid me, but don't all lead acid batteries use the same chemistry? I've read only that 6-cell lead-acid batteries should never use a charging voltage exceeding 14.4 volts, since water will begin to H2 gas and O2 gas above that. You risk explosion and loss of electrolyte beyond that. Explain why this is different for AGM, Flooded, and Gel batteries!

Answer:	No, once you jump it you remove it from the battery. I charge it with the outlet cord. I have been able to get a few jump starts with a single charge. It is great as back up while boating and Jeeping.

Answer:	These packs will provide 12V power, but it's hard to promise you that it will always get you going. A lot will depend on things like did a light get left on for 2 hours while you went to a movie or all night long fully draining the battery? I've done a test myself with a similar pack where I disconnected my car battery (to pretend it was dead) and tried the pack alone. My 4 cylinder car did start, but cranked so slowly I didn't think it was going to as I held the key for 3 seconds. With that experience I doubt this alone could handle a truck with 2 batteries that are both fully drained and even an OEM rep from Clore suggested their next bigger unit (the JNC950). To be honest with you I'd not buy the 950 for $250 when I can get a 35 amp-hour battery like it has for $70 (which leaves me $150+ to buy jumper cables & a charger separately), but that's just me. In any case, don't get too sold on the "1700 peak amps" labels since these are not that big a battery (just as it weighs 15 lbs versus 45 lbs for a real car battery, that's the ratio of power I expect).

Answer:	No, the "charger" is built in you use a regular 3 pronged household cord to plug it into the wall. I use a simple orange colored extension cord and it works great.
Question:	Can I buy a replacement 12 volt charging cord
Answer:	It doesn't come with a charging cord. You just plug an extension cord in to this. But again buyer beware, this product came defective when I bought my it. Did not work.
Question:	How long can the compressor run continuously and how long does it have to "rest" before starting the compressor again? what is the cubic feet/minute
Answer:	I'd not expect a compressor in any of these kind of packs to be able to run more than 10 minutes without another 10 minute break. I tried a compressor in a similar pack connecting it to a 11 gallon air tank, it had it up to 45 psi in 5 minutes (starting from 0). I've filled that same tank to 120 psi in under 5 minutes off a 2HP AC compressor that delivers ~3CFM at 90 psi, so I'd say these are ~1 CFM (likely less with it being so low that they don't even give the numbers). If you are thinking of running air tools (which is about the only reason to ask for CFM), you'd need to run the compressor for 10 minutes for under 30 seconds of tools use where I doubt it's worth the wait (not to mention needing a tank to build-up the air charge since there's no way the compressor alone can feed a tool directly). I don't have this exact unit to verify all such claims, but when it takes an AC motor pulling 120V 10A to drive the 3 CFM compressor, it's hard for me to believe a 12V battery supplying under 20A can deliver the same (just as those numbers show 1200 watts versus 240 watts, the air delivery must be about the same ratio).
