Answer:	I haven’t used Ace brand to make a comparison but these are great. Question:	Can you used this to cool down while hiking
Answer:	Check with TSA as they would probably know. Also check online with an airline that is specific to the country you are flying to. Example is British Airways which flies to the UK. If they don't allow them use a ziplock bag and get ice from the flight attendants. That's what I do.
Question:	I can't get it to activate. I have squeezed it together every which way, what am I doing wrong
Answer:	Probably not. These are chemical based packs that become cold, but not ice cold, the minute they're activated. (Crushed in bare hands and shook) They're mostly for portable, on the spot cooling for injuries and often used to cool down over-heated persons with quick easy application behind the neck, knees, etc. until real ice can be obtained. Also, they loose their chill in most cases within 30 minutes. They would work to cool down some candy bars or fruit but again....30 minutes and they're pretty well spent. My suggestion is "Freezer Blocks". They're reuseable, very efficient and long lasting in a decent cooler, inexpensive and come in a multitude of sizes. IF Amazon does not have what you want, check your local "W" store in the sporting goods/cooler area. Good luck!!

Answer:	30-40 minutes I used it on top of a thin cloth to prevent a "cold burn" on my skin.I then secured it in place with a loose wide self stick wrap. After 20 minutes I moved it to another place, and it was still cold enough to use in the same way for 10 minutes.

Answer:	Yes they are! I originally bought these for my 4 year old and kept in the freezer when she would get a bump or bruise but now I have a 6 month old and they are fabulous when I am pumping to make sure I express all the milk. I have two that I keep at room temp and microwave. I put the cloth backing side on first and then when I can’t feel the warmth I swap it to the other side. They are still warm after 20 minutes of pumping. They probably stay cold at least 20-30 minutes.

Question:	Can I use for travel
Answer:	Sure.
Question:	what are the ingredients? how much does the box weigh for shipping
Answer:	Packet says: ammonium nitrate fertilizer (NA-2072) and water. It's a pretty sizable box. I'm going to guess 20 pounds, but it's purely a guess. Box arrived in really bad shape -- packets almost falling out. Packets themselves are 4.5" x 7". Besides the poor shipping, we are very happy with them. You pop them and get instantly cold; they last about 15-20 minutes.
Question:	will this work for homemade targets
Answer:	I'm not sure what a homemade target means in relation to these instant cold packs. But I can tell you that these were defective and/or just horrible cold packs and I returned them. Never got cold to work
