Answer:	I wetsanded the clear gloss over this and it all came right off, sanded down to my fricken primer with 2000 grit. I couldnt believe it. I have to repaint the whole thing now kinda blows....

Question:	Do you have to primer, first
Answer:	You should and it will run less and cure better, but you don't absolutely have to. If you skip primer, you have to degrease and clean the entire wheel in soap and water, then wet sand the entire surface to get through the clear coat or acrylic barrier in the paint layer, 800-2000 grit until the entire rim looks hazy when you wipe it dry. Then clean it with isopropyl alcohol, and use air to blow any remaining fibers or debris away from the wheel. All your coats must be 5-30 minutes apart, not sooner, not longer. First two coats, just lightly dust it, don't worry about coverage. Next coat should be a light overall coat that is not wet and glossy (pull it back!). Once that tacks up a bit, then you can apply a medium wet coat, by repeating the light coat you did over and over until it STARTS to look wet and glossy. Don't keep going over a spot that already does. Let it cure untouched for 7 days. Your paint will be good.

Answer:	Don't use this product, it sucks. Doesn't even come out close to the pic on the can. Spend the money and get them PVD coated. If you want great looking black chrome.

Answer:	I've had it on my rims for the entire summer. It doesn't chip or peel as some have suggested here. The key is preparation, you've got to start off with a completely clean surface. Keep in mind that it's a lacquer paint and it needs to be buffed and compounded occasionally. My finish went "flat" after less than a month so I put a buffing wheel on my drill to buff it out and bring back the shine. This is not a maintenance-free finish like a clear coat

Answer:	I tried this stuff and found that it SUCKED!! It is very hard to use and the spraying is VERY sloppy. You need to cover every, single, solitary inch of the wheel (tire too) and car that you don't want paint on since it sprays everywhere.

Answer:	I’d did all 4 faces of my 19” wheels with it. It’s not enough to paint them completely. If they are any color but silver then I suggest using a couple coats of primer first.

Answer:	99% no. You probably could get away with doing all 4 or a side. If you only do one rim on a side you’ll be able to see the difference.

Answer:	As long as your rims are clear coated with the same type of "clear lacquer" that is used on car paint finishes, it would be fine. If the scratches you have on the wheels are only into the clear coat, the PRP would "refill" that lacquer and help diminish the visibility of the scratch(es). However, if the scratches are deeper than that, or the actual wheel is scratched, unfortunately the PRP will not offer much help in the way of cosmetic improvement.
