Answer:	Even though it says Carpet Stain Remover, I use it on all my washable laundry items for spot stains. I also carry a folex filled travel size hair spray bottle in my purse at all times for those pesky times I get food stains on my clothing. As with most stains the sooner you can remove the stain, the better. It is the best product I have ever found and also works well with cat stains. The best price is usually at Home Depot in the cleaning products section.

Label contains a warning for sulfite sensitive individuals; they may experience a severe allergic reaction if exposed to this product. Bottom Line: there is NO mention or recommendation to use this on clothing. It is for carpet use only.

Answer:	you do need to use more of the trigger spray vs. aerosol no matter what you are cleaning. This is one of the differences I have found. I let it soak longer before blotting it up also.

Answer:	I have utilized Folex for 6 yrs. or more and on any/everything. Various fabrics and materials; Carpets-furniture-pillows-mattress-drapes-clothing. I have not experienced any type of discoloration be it leaching, bleaching or otherwise. It leaves no physical or odor residue; needs no rincing nor clean up afteruse. I was most impressed with results when used on boxed/stored sweaters. Unknown at the time, Army contacted packers in Germany had enclosed some hand tools with the sweaters. Stored for year and before box was unpacked, an OK. tornado dropped our 2 story storage barn. When found, tools had rusted dark orange on 2 of my favorite pastel and bright colored stripes across white sweaters. Tried everything possible-no go. Several years later, a friend was using Folex sent to her on a carpet spot when her dog had thrown up. Using a slightly moist cloth to cleaned up the reminents she then sprayed spot with Folex; spot disappeared before my eyes. Humm. I borrowed to try on my sweaters. Sprayed, let set a few minutes, rinsed with cold water-twice, a shadow of the rust stain remained. So, resprayed and lightly rubbed on a pinch of OxiClean (still new to the market at the time, using alone didn't remove the rust stains). Sweaters still look new bought!!! Answer:	My non-expert answer is that a spot is more surface and a stain is more soaked in. Folex will handle most of the small ones, 1" to 6". Others may take a stronger, more industrial application. But for quick clean up of spills and other small stains (especially recent ones) Folex works. I once went out of state and rented a room in someone's basement. The former renter was a student, and spilled drinks and food on the carpet. It took several applications and scrubbings on some spots/stains, but Folex took care of them all.

Answer:	I have tried to use this on ink and it helps, but doesn't completely get it out. I would highly recommend good old hair spray! Hair spray has been a go-to for any kind of ink stain. Try it on a small area first. The hairspray will help break down the ink and then you can use something else to remove it. Good luck!

Answer:	Many customers have had success using our product on mattresses. You can spray or pour it on and leave it. If the product does come in contact with the urine, it will eliminate it. It is recommended that you put a towel over the treated area with a weight on it right after the application of our product. This allows any moisture to wick up into the towel instead of staying on the surface of the mattress.

Answer:	cornstarch rubbed into the grease spot then use a warm iron over a paper towel. Dab with detergent to get the cornstarch out and wash.

Answer:	I've used Lifter-1 carpet cleaner for years. It's gotten out grease and a whole lot more. I do feel that it works best on a decent grade of carpeting. I use it regularly and have not been disappointed. I always use a very wet cloth and rinse thoroughly.
Question:	Does this remove makeup stains
Answer:	Every situation is different but we have had many cases where Lifter-1 Carpet Stain Remover has done a fabulous job at removing makeup.
Question:	Is this good for cleaning large areas

Answer:	The Folex didn’t harm my hands. However, I wouldn’t recommend this product it made my spots worse and hard to get up.

Answer:	It would depend on what the fabric is and also what the manufacturer recommends for that fabric. I have spot-cleaned my sofa at various times with Folex and it works very well have had no adverse effects.
