Answer:	It depends on the chemical. It is recommended for use with gear oils, transmission fluids and differential fluids. Beyond that, there are no guarantees that the pump will last very long. However, some customers have said that they use it to remove gasoline from lawnmowers. The pump is NOT recommended for transferring BRAKE FLUID.

Answer:	You should be able to draw fluid from any reservoir of liquid. However, I not sure the rigid suction tube that extends from the bottom of the pump is long enough to reach the pan. There are other extractor pumps for sale on amazon that are designed and more suitable for the application that you are referring to. Try searching 'oil extractor pump', and you should get plenty of options. Unfortunately, you're going to have to pay a lot more than $9.59 for one of those pumps.

If the main body mechanism does not fit in your quart bottle you ave a non standard bottle not used in auto fluids and you need to move fluid to another standard bottle or use a suction pump type exchanger (manual ones are cheap)

Answer:	The id is about the size of a 3/8 stud if you stretch it a bit. What are you doing with this product the size of the hose is that critical? This product has worked very well for me and I do more than the adverage share of trans and diff fluid changes. Your real concern should be the size of the threads that this pump will fit. For example I use only Mobile 1 auto trans fluid. The bottle of Mobile 1 has much larger threads than the pump. For some hard to reach fluid fills I keep a clean empty bottle of Motor Craft oil that has the same threads as the pump. It's the only disadvantage I have found to this other wise great product. Besides you can go to any hardware store and get any length clear tubing you like for a long distance transfer. The tubing that comes with the pump must be almost two feet Long I want to say. I have never felt the need for a longer hose in all the situations I've ever come across. Good luck. Hard to go wrong with this pump or most anything else from this manufacture.

Answer:	No it's too big. On the other hand, it worked just fine to pump out the MT-90 into my 5 speed manual. I did not use any tape, and just kept the bottles level.

Answer:	It is a quart but the pump does not last long. After maybe a hand full of times using it, the pump had fallen apart and became useless. I don't recommend this unit and it's up to you.

Unscrew the metal pipe from the red plastic piece. inside you will find a small red plastic piece that turned and blocked the passages to let the fluids out the discharge hole.turn it to allow the fluid to come out and put it back together. I have thrown both of mine in the trash. I will never buy anything from Lumax again-EVER!

Answer:	Just add fluid into the container and just start pumping, that's how it worked for me. NOTE: It worked okay for a little, then the pump started to stick and Then it just stopped pumping (jammed). It was cheap so don't expect it to last long. Answer:	This will work on any vehicle even if the attachments don't screw into the fill hole the hose will. I used it on my 1984 Defender 90, as well as my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ. I will never hand pump transmission fluid ever again.

Answer:	Don’t see why it wouldn’t. It is just a pump with different attachments. As long as it’s accessible it should work fine

Answer:	Thanks for your inquiry. The cover of the tank can be opened to clean inside. The cover is screwed very tightly, so it needs much force to open it. Or you can also use the soap water to smooth it. Another way to clean inside is to extract the cleaner into the tank, then do the dispensing function.

Answer:	I am the wife answering and dont know but do know BEWARE this is NOT what we thought it was. We thought it was whole thing but its JUST the body or face of it. We needed whole thing so sent back.

How To Fill The Tank - Extraction

1. Turn the blue screw valve counterclockwise to "Extract" mode and tighten it.
2. Twist the air inlet switch valve to "Extract" mode. Two position should be consistent.
3. Connect the hose with controller gun to the pump, and connect the 1m nylon hose to the controller gun.
4. Connect the pump to air compressor.
5. Put the nylon hose into the fluid you want to extract.
6. Lock the handle lever.
7. Press the hose trigger on controller gun to start extracting.

How To Fill Your Vehicle Transmission - Dispense

1. Turn the blue screw valve clockwise to "Dispense" mode and tighten it.
