Answer:	I use it on ball joints and tie-rod ends, and it works great! I don't see any reason it wouldn't work on u-joints as well

Answer:	Royal Purple UPG is an NLGI 2 grease and is a much thicker than an NLGI 000 grease which is semi-fluid. I would not use UPG 2 where an NLGI 000 grease is specified.

Answer:	Best practices would dictate that ANY time you change grease types/brands/ et al. that you should flush the bearings WELL with solvent until all old grease residue is gone. THEN, repack with the new stuff. I flush and repack EVERY time I check and adjust wheel bearings for wear. BONUS for always flushing.... you KNOW that you flushed out all worn metal dust, bits, and other crud they may be in there.

Answer:	The color is dark blueish black! If you’re greasing wheel bearings and this grease is different from what is currently in the bearings just make sure to use enough of the new grease to push out the old.( Assuming you have grease fittings as opposed to manually packing bearings)

Question:	Bought a new recliner -- can I use this to make the recliner mechanism less stiff
Answer:	Don't use WD-40 on hinges. It's more a water dispersant that a lubricant. It won't stick. For hinges on a recliner I would recommend white lithium grease. White lithium grease is widely available in a spray can with a straw, but I think overspray might get on your upholstery. Sta Lube packages it in a tub, which is way more than you would need, maybe you can find it packaged in a smaller tube. A flux brush would be a good tool for applying only where it's needed.
