Question: Dumb question: is the charger included (no mention specifically of same
Answer: This framing nail does not work with plastic collated nails. This model requires clip head or offset round paper collated nails. If you need the one that uses round head plastic collated nails, you will need model NR1890DR or NR1890DRS.
Question: What gas cart is used
Answer: This tool is not made in the USA.
Question: is the nails for this gas nails the same as the air nailer? i will be using both together
Answer: First, a reminder that this version of the nailer is only made to shoot papertape nails, 30-34 degree. If the nails you have are trul plastic collated them they are 21 degree and will cause damage. After making sure you have put in the correct nails, there are two buttons right by the bottom of your hand when holding the tool. One is on/off, and the other changes from sequential mode to bump mode. Press and hold the on button till a green light comes on, then operate.
Question: What is the largest length nail that can be used with this gun? I'll be doing some floor plates in a remote location, so probably need at least

User questions & answers

Question: Does it come with 2 batteries
Answer: Yes it is, it just unscrews. If your going to bore into something that needs the power this drill has that handle might keep you fromgetting injured, boy this thing really has power. If you put it in a bind something is going to give. Great drill used one for 25 years.
Question: Does this use staples too
Answer: I bought one a couple months ago and it was made in Japan. It is a really nice drill lots of power, smooth, and quiet. I think you will be very happy with it.
Question: Can this shoot a 3" pin nail
Answer: No its a rocker trigger forward & reverse with no trigger lock
Question: Does it take the same battery as the 16 gauge
Answer: I don't know the torque in numbers. You have to really have a strong grip on the extended handle and good stance with your feet. If the drill bit hits some tough going it will pull loose from your hand if you don't. If you don't have a good stance with your feet it will twist your body so much you will lose your balance. Very powerful drill.

Answer: 110V
Question: What is date code on these
Answer: Makita is headquartered (emphasis) in Japan however my drill was assembled in Buford, Georgia according to the label. Makita has been making and/or assembling tools in the U.S. since 1985. For one reason or another, manufacturers frequently shift production of certain products from plants in one country to another. The only way to know with certainty where and when a specific Makita tool was made is to read the label on the tool.

User questions & answers

Question: Is there any warranty
Answer: I don't remember if it had a case or not. It just sits on a shelf until I use it. Every other Makita I have bought has had a case. But this one I don't seem to have a case. As far as the drill goes, it is one of the best ones I have had in the past 45 years. Plenty of power and the chuck works good and is true. I would buy no other if I needed another. I have used many drills that the chuck holds the bits a fraction off to one side. They are a pain to use. This Makita is the best.
Question: does it include battery, charger, and case
Answer: Mine didn’t come with a case but the description didn’t say that it did. I wasn’t needing a case.
Question: To be clear what all comes with the gun
Answer: per tag on drill it is 7 amp. It will still hurt your wrist.
Question: Can this be used for boxcarsiding
Answer: 2 prong

Question: Expiration date if i order may
Answer: ours include Includes: Refurbished 16 Ga Straight Cordless Li-ion Finish - Class A Li-Ion Battery Li-Ion Battery Charger 110v Rugged Carrying Case Owner’s Manual & Safety Glasses
Question: Will it work with hitachi/metabo/hikoki nc40g concrete nailer
Answer: i would think so mine will drive&set a a finish nail in solid ash
Question: what is the difference between red fuel and orange fuel
Answer: If you're someone that knows how do do potentially dangerous things safely, the type of person that can figure anything out, and you have access to bulk propylene (perhaps even worthington/bernzomatic yellow "MAP-Pro" cans would work, those cans haven't used actual MAPP for years), I bet you could purge and refill these things quite a few times. Definitely not suggesting anyone should, I haven't tried it... yet... but ya probably could. I've been using common lighter refill butane/propane blends to refill paslode FINISH nailer cartridges* for pennies on the dollar for years now without issue, I can even get more shots between swaps out of a refilled cartridge than a new one, using a freezer, an oven mitt, and a few quick gas squirts to keep it cold til its brimming with liquid fuel. What I'm suggesting is probably a bad idea, so don't try this at home. Use the workshop lol * finish nailers work with a butane/propane mix, framers apparently need a bit more umph from a propylene/butylene mix; do not confuse the two!
