We’ve taken the hitch plate, rocker arm and crossmember and combined all three functions into our SuperLite King Pin Adapter. The adapter clamps to the trailer’s king pin and mounts an upside-down ball in place of all three. Then we took a gooseneck coupler, and turned it upside-down and mounted it to a base that fits industry standard rails or PullRite’s totally removable SuperRails featuring Clean Bed Technology (CBT). We’ve added a funnel to the gooseneck coupler so that all you have to do is aim the ball over any part of the funnel to guide the ball into the coupler tube. Because the ball and the coupler funnel are completely visible from the driver’s seat, SuperLite is absolutely the easiest fifth wheel hitch to couple in the industry, and the lightest at only 52 lbs.
- Easiest fifth wheel hitch to couple in the industry
- Fits onto industry standard rails or PullRite's SuperRails featuring Clean Bed Technology
- Ball and the coupler funnel are completely visible from the driver’s seat
- Weights only 52 lbs.
- 20,000 GTW capacity
User questions & answers
Question: | Is the king pin centered between the bed rails or offset to allow for cab clearance |
Answer: | Yes I have it installed on 2006 2500hd with a 6.6 ft bed and have not had any problems but always careful if making a tight turn. Actually amazed with the amount of clearance I have turning. Had the superglide(great hitch) but loving the weight of the superlight! Quality product!!! |
Question: | Anyone use this hitch on a 6'9" bed with the ball adapter forward of the king pin and have any clearance issues at the bed side rails |
Answer: | Not that I'm aware of. Your gooseneck hitch is designed to work on a surface mounted hitch ball. This hitch sets about 10-12 inches above the bed floor and is set for the ball to be on the trailer, not on the hitch. Also the front end of your trailer would be about 12 inches or so high. Not a safe towing aspect. |
Question: | Manufacturer says hitch is only design for long bed trucks. Has anyone install this in a short bed truck |
Answer: | 300 pounds is no problem |
Question: | Is there a simple adapter for a gooseneck trailer |
Answer: | Yes it should fit all fifth wheel hitches. |

Product description
"The #1800 OE Puck Series Super 5th carries a heavier maximum tow rating of 25K! Designed specifically for 2020 GM long bed trucks with pucks, but usable with short bed trucks with the right truck/trailer combination for those who don't mind making a larger turning radius to avoid cab contact. This direct attachment hitch mounts to your truck's OE mounting points.NO ADAPTER OR RAILS NEEDED! The mounting post assemblies are completely removable for easier removal and installation of the hitch. Simply unpin handles, rotate 1/4 turn outward and lift the hitch out of the bed. NO TOOLS NEEDED! The #1800 is made from high quality American steel and premium hardware, like the use of castle nuts that allow for finer adjustments of the OE puck handles for ease of installation and fit! The hitch plate is the first connection to your trailer. Ours have a fully automatic locking jaw, is the only self-locking handle on the market and has no secondary locking devices to engage. Its dual articulating hitch head moves side-to-side and front-to-back, giving you a smoother ride as you travel over bumpy roads. Even more important, PullRite's hitch plate allows you to couple/uncouple your trailer on uneven ground, whereas most other brand of hitches require you to jack up/shim your truck and trailer to be level with one another to prevent a false hookup or "high hooking." And removing PullRite's automatically-locking hitch plate is done by pulling two pins and clips, unlike other hitches on the market that require tools for removal. SAE J2638 tested."

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this hitch work on my 2017 prox d Nissan diesel |
Answer: | I have this hitch now (4400) and I’m trying to sell it for $800. I am including the 3 inch Pull Rite Riser bars with it. My hitch clearly says it’s good for 20,000 pounds but if you want to raise your hitch 3 inches with these Pull Rite bars it brings the towing capacity down to 18,000 pounds with the risers. |
Question: | The PullRite 4400 listed on the PullRite site is listed for 20k and the one on the Amazon site lists it at 18k. Are they the same |
Answer: | Just remember you need to secure the trailer from rolling then put your truck in reverse to put some pressure on the hitch then apply your emergency brake and put the truck in park. Get out and pull the hitch handle and it will release real easy. I had the same problem |
Question: | We have a superglide pullrite hitch in our long bed truck. it does a great job pulling our fifth wheel. but we have a problem unhooking trailer |
Answer: | Yes there is. There is a 3" lift kit available for that hitch and it is currently $129.98. It is item number 71375 on our direct website which is dyersonline.com. |
Question: | Is there a kit which can raise the hitch about 2" so that I have a better clearance over the sides of my 2013 Chev 3500HD |
Answer: | The hitch adjusts in different heights, and will mount to industry standard rails. Here is a copy of the user manual for you to check out.http://www.pullrite.com/sites/pullrite/files/1900-2100-2200%20Owners%20Manual%20%20%6010-1-14%20revA4.pdf |
