Answer:	This and many of the lower cost filters don't do much. You will see "T33" a lot. They are mostly for taste/smell. If you are using well water You should spend the $$$ to have your water tested at a lab and see if it is safe to drink first of all and what is in the water. Assuming it is safe to drink what if anything does the lab recommend to be filtered out (if anything)? Radon gas for example can't be seen, smelled or tasted. It is the #2 cause of cancer after smoking.
Question:	Is it good for diesel fuel? Plan to use it on a diesel heater
Answer:	yes. It removes a large percentage of minerals and will help preserve the life of your icemaker! Cloudiness is often caused by slow freezing. Make the freezer a bit colder and see if that helps. Scale formed on your freeze plate in your icemaker can slow the ice process also. Definitely never run an icemaker or water tap through your fridge without a filter. It adds years of life to yor equipment. Just change it once a year and you should be good to go

Answer:	The flow direction is white to blue. If you look carefully at the body of the filter, you can see a flow direction arrow molded in. Do yourself a favor - carefully remove the flash from the inlet and outlet fittings if you see it. It caused a leak on my install.
