Answer:	The status panel for my unit displays a run time of approx. 134 minutes at a load of 63 watts. I have one desk top with a 24" screen and the router plugged into it. I would guess that a projector would produce a higher load and with less "run time" .

Answer:	It works by pushing the button. You can also leave it muted for future events - I don't need to have the thing beeping to tell me the power went off in the rest of the house.

Answer:	Assume fixed load says 100 Watts, backup time depends on the battery size. If you want a longer backup time, you need to purchase a battery having higher capacity. Recommend highest battery output ampacity is equal or less than 80% UPS output breaker (see this information on the specification). The larger size battery shall be external internal installation; wires splice could be required. Not recommend if you are not familiar with electrical due to safety electric shock and possible fire hazard.
Question:	What is the life expectancy (NOT run time) of the battery
Answer:	My background is electrical engineering and I understand the technical issues of PFC, Simulated, and Pure Sine wave. The comments of HarryKerryJr are excellent. The alternate opinion that "very few things need Pure Sine Wave" was true in 2008, and somewhat true in 2015, but this is 2019! You can find a lot of old posts and articles before 2010 that said you don't need pure sine wave "I never had a problem". Today, there are a lot more systems with power supplies that support Active PFC, and a lot more people experiencing failures where they don't have a clue as to what happened. If you had equipment fail during an extended outage, there is a good chance that this was the problem. In some case you might not need pure sine wave, but it is very hard to tell. If you only using the unit to provide an orderly shutdown, and you are shutting down as soon as possible, it probably doesn't matter, but it might. If you got the 1500 because you want to keep the equipment running as long as possible, then it is more likely to matter. I'm an electrical engineer and I can't always figure it out, but if the equipment is Energy Star 5.0, or the manufacture says to use only "pure sine wave" backup units, or I know it has Active PFC and then I always use a pure sine wave unit.

Answer:	It depends on high high the power goes up. It’s much quieter than any gas power blower

Answer:	Depends on what speed you run it. 15 minutes on full turbo and 30-45 minutes on variable speed. We purchased a 2nd battery for convenience.
