Answer:	I believe you are referring to the wired control. The wired control is water-resistant. Please note splash, water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. One day it its fails, it can be easily replaced.

Answer:	Hi, to turn off the speaker. Simply press the on/off button to shut it down. Or you can unplug the SAE connector to shut down completely. To connect to the ignition wire, you will have to modify the positive wire and hardwire it to the ignition. We recommend taking this to a professional installer to perform such change. Thank you
