Step 1

Open the box and inspect the item. Verify what was received was what you ordered and that the item is free from physical damage or defect.

Step 2

Remove the original headlights. If you are having difficulty there are most likely fasteners hidden. Review the new headlights to help locate the hidden fastener’s locations. Commonly there are two to four fasteners per light. They may be located behind a fender, bumper or grill.

Step 3

Once the headlight is removed transfer any bulbs or wiring harnesses from the original headlights to the new units. Then plug everything in and test all lights are working correctly.

Step 4

Unplug the new headlights. Install them in the reverse order the originals were removed. Plug the new headlights back in. And verify they are working correctly.

Answer:	In the past I've used super glue, not throughout the whole strip but drops every inch or so and it survived my almost daily carwashes. (I have a membership so I use it well) After its use, I removed the strip and used an adhesive remover for any remaining glue spots.

Answer:	No. You would have to hook these up to something to turn them on and off. I hooked four of them up, in a cross-pattern (X) so that the front L and rear R would come on and then then front R and rear L. I hooked these up to a flashing unit and then placed the unit in my bike, which has an auxiliary switch to turn on/off the power to the flash unit (and thus the lights).
