How to wire the Eclipse LED directly to a battery?



1) Cut off the power plug

2) Carefully strip the outer black wire sheath, and then inner wires

3) You will see two inner wires with different colors:

Brown is positive +ve

Blue is negative -ve

IMPORTANT: you MUST hook the wires up with the correct polarity. If you accidentally reverse them, even for half a second, it may permanently damage the LED.

Answer:	Don't know exactly. Lights are aluminum with glass lens. Solid but not overly heavy. I'm installing on a scooter without weight concerns.

Question:	Can I use the light for a head light on a golf cart? Can I hook up a on/off switch on the dash of the golf cart to turn it in and off as needed
Answer:	Each lamp Draws 1.6 amps. If you combine them together you should be able to use a 5 amp fuse,otherwise a 3 amp fuse for one light.
