Adjust the height.

Attach the top straps to the carpet inside the trunk with the Velcro ends.

For a minimalist look, remove the side straps.

Stick the Velcro surface to each ends with the adhesive side facing your bumper.

Step 2: Clean the bumper

Clean the side of the bumper with the supplied alcohol swab.

Dirt can prevent the Velcro sticker to adhere to the bumper's surface.

So be thorough.

Step 3: Stick Velcro pads

Peel off the sticker.

Attach the edges of the Bumper Protector to the side of the bumper you just cleaned.

Repeat for the other end.

• This will work right out of the box for MOST cars, but some will require trimming. This will NOT fit the new 2016+ Prius, Ford Fusion, and all unique, "non flat" bumpers. PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST if you are unsure if this will fit your car.

Question:	Can BumpeX be installed so it looks straight and even? (I'm concerned it may not go on straight or look wavy when installed
Answer:	It's a rubber bumper. Yes it's waterproof.
Question:	Is there a way to remove the logo and have a clean black bumper
Answer:	From what I understand, the adhesive used on Bumper X is a 3M product which is very similar to adhesives used for other "stick on" automotive products. It can be peeled back off by hand and any residue can be removed with rubbing alcohol. It should not damage anything unless the finish underneath was defective to begin with. I.E. already cracked, peeling, clearcoat affected by the sun, etc.
Question:	is it waterproof
Answer:	This is not the best answer for protection it's more for hiding a damaged bumper or just for looks it has an adhesive backing which in time these are easy to come off.
Question:	What is required to remove it after a few years of use (tools, products)? I'm worried it will damage the bumper
Answer:	Absolutely can be cut with a scissors. I've done it.

The BumperX was designed to fit most cars out of the box. It is slightly thicker than a quarter which makes it easy to conform. There is a 5"x62" and 6"x 62" wide design. Please measure the width of the bumper before buying.

Peel & Stick Protection

The BumperX has a special 3M adhesive that is designed to stick on automotive clearcoat/plastic/metal. Peel-Stick-Set It-Forget It! Like the mailman, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night.." will affect the BumperX from falling off your car...unlike the Mailman, these will protect your car from love taps and bad parallel parkers.

Easily Modified

The BumperX fits most cars right out of the box, but since every car bumper is unique, you will sometimes need to do some 5-minute Do-It-Yourself work. BumperX can easily be trimmed with regular scissors to accomodate most bumpers.

Step 1: Prep Bumper

1. Wash bumper.
2. After it dries, use rubbing alcohol and go over bumper.

Step 2: Center It

1. Place painter's tape on the BumperX.
2. Center BumperX & adhere to bumper with painter's tape.

Step 3: Anchoring

1. Once BumperX is centered, peel one of the corners.
2. Secure that corner to bumper with the sticky backing.

Step 4: Set It

1. Slowly peel paper backing & press down a few inches at a time.
2. Once the BumperX is stuck, press hard on every inch with extra attention to all corners.

Question:	Do these fit the 2011 svt raptor
Answer:	I have removed writing from other surfaces by using a very fine grit sanding block or paper and just lightly going over it to loosen the writing then using one of those Mr Clean Magic Erasers (You have to wet the eraser) and it works really well on just about any surface with writing. The trick is to get the writing loosened at the edge first. If it looks dull after where logo was removed you can use some armorall or even black shoe polish of you're a perfectionist! LOL!

Answer:	It will but it is really small. Barely covers my bumper. I am in and out of my trunk all day and it helps but it is not perfect.

Question:	Will this work on a 2002 toyota camry
Answer:	No, it's just the bar. Very very hard to drill through even with a great drill, a punch and metal bits. I took off my bumper and tried to attach it to the metal behind the bumper. In the end I wound up putting the bumper back.on, drilling through the bumper and metal behind it, and using hollow wall anchors. It's not going anywhere and worked out well. A couple of dollars at the local hardware store.and you should have.no problem
Question:	Will this fit on a 2003 Subaru Baja
Answer:	It's very likely. Honestly any subaru with a front license plate slot on the bumper will work with this, but you need self tapping screws that are long enough to get through the fiberglass and into the metal part of the bumper. So to answer the original question yes it will work. You definitely need the hardware though.

Answer:	Yes it does hold it in place. I also use the cords attached. Works very well.

Answer:	I would think so. We have an Audi A4 and the mat fits easily. It's about 36 inches wide and maybe a little more in depth
