User questions & answers
Question: | I can't remove the protective cap on the film, what are my options |
Answer: | Yes it does. |
Question: | Is it a 6"x60" inch |
Answer: | It's more about making sure that water flows through the media to be most effective. Canister filters leave little room for error when it comes to flow. If your sump has an area that the flow (or designated flow) of water can pass through the media, then you should be fine. |
Question: | Is this easily removable without leaving traces of adhesive |
Answer: | I received 2 packages of 1 bag each. |
Question: | how much visibility thru film over lights |
Answer: | The pouch is useful only if you can achieve good water flow though the pouch to utilize the positive effects of the Nitra-Zorb. If you cannot give a one way water current in the tank for the pouch to work then I would not use this. What would happen is the gunk would concentrate all around the outer surface of the pouch but it wouldn’t be nearly as effective as the water ran all the way into the pouch and through it. |

Product description
Every material VViViD Vinyl offers is either a CAST or Polymeric material. Cast vinyl is stable when applied to a surface. It harbours no tension, whereas calendared vinyl harbours up to 25%. Calendared vinyl is made by processing a mass of vinyl through rollers and stretching it over hundreds of feet. Therefore when applied to a curved surface such as a car, calendared vinyl will shrink back causing curling, peeling and cracking. In contrast, VViViD's cast vinyl starts off as a liquid and is poured onto a sheet and baked. This means the cast was never stretched to begin with and will stay in place for the life of the vinyl. When cast vinyl is accidentally creased or stretched, you can heat it and it will return to its original form without creases or stretch marks. Polymeric offers the same advantage. It has been heated/treated and pre-stretched allowing for a cast-like application. (Please note: For exterior applications, the vinyl will require post-wrap lamination. For automotive applications and car wrap projects, its recommended that you use VViViD Supercast Conform Chrome Vinyl)
- Chrome vinyl wrap is the fast, cost-effective alternative to the expense of a new paint job.
- Protects surfaces from scratches, dirt, and exposure to weather. Self-adhesive, dry application, repositionable.
- Stretch retention of less than 1% (compared to cheaper vinyls with 25%)
- Conformity and stretch up to 24% (low). Lamination required to prevent colour fading.

User questions & answers
Question: | if i order 5 feet do i get one big roll or 5 rolls of one foot long |
Answer: | Yes i used it on the exterior of my car and power washed it and everything it didnt come off |
Question: | How much do you need to wrap a whole car |
Answer: | Unless someone else has one and can tell you the best way to find out is to take a tailors measuring tape, or flexible ruler and measure to measure the surface area yourself. Draw imaginary lines vertical and horizontally from each of the widest edge of each panel and add each panel together and double it. Unless you’ve done it before you will probably make some mistakes. Make sure to watch some videos on how to deal with curves and edges, and the difficulty level of vinyl can vary |
Question: | Can lettering be cut out of this on a vinyl cutting machine |
Answer: | First, I'd clean the surface of the area where the vinyl would go. Second, I'd cut the vinyl to slightly larger area where it would cover. Next, spray soapy water onto the surface to he covered. Using a squeegee, drop the vinyl from right to left pushing out the soapy water. Keep squeegeeing out the water to the sides. Cut out excess with an exacto knife. If the surface is uneven, use a heat gun to stretch it over the area as you are laying down the vinyl. There's tons of different videos on YouTube. |
Question: | Can you wrap over top of existing wrap or will it peel off easy like electric tape |
Answer: | Only if you plan to bikini wax the dog in the future. Full professional kit here though. 10/10 for hair pulling capabilities. |
