Standard Incandescent
The standard incandescent light is the original trailer lighting design. The light is water resistant with standard gaskets but not meant to be submersed. Fits most light to medium duty trailers.
Submersible Incandescent
Submersible trailer lights work off of the 'Bell Jar' Principle. Much like when you push an upside down drinking glass into water, the water only reaches partially up into the glass. This same principle keeps water from getting to the light bulb. Some lights also have a sealed capsule to further eliminate the chance for moisture and corrosion.
LED
All Blazer LED lights are waterproof. This is because the electronics and the housing and lens are permanently sealed. LED lights are long lasting and rugged. The price is higher but that is offset by the life and durability.
