Answer:	All trailer brake controllers are proportional. You can adjust how agressive the trailer brakes are applied. It needs to be adjustable based on number of brakes and weight your hauling. We purchased this as a direct replacement in a customer truck. Customer liked the first one so we replaced it with the same.

Answer:	I have a 2014 and the 2015 should be the same. To find the connector for the small plug is kinda tricky. It's tied up above the throttle pedle. Search YouTube.com for install video and it will clear up and questions you have.

Modern controllers have adjustable braking pressures and override switches that you can control with your hand. They can also be mounted is various positions for easy access. I believe Tekonsha makes the Reese brands as well. Maybe others as well.

I had to hard wire my own plug that came with the kit. One wire I did not have to use. Out of the five wires I only had to use 4 of them. The lady email me instruction for my 2008 Chevy 1500. She is very helpful. I tow a toy hauler with two motorcycle. Three setting plus to go to manual setting which I like. Plus there is a button on the right that I use like a trolly brake. (Use to drive a tractor). With that button, slowly pushing on it, I was using just the trailer to stop me or to straighten out the trailer if it sway.

The Tekonsha brand plug-and-play vehicle specific harness will only work if the truck has the Ford factory installed tow package. If it is an aftermarket tow package (or none) you will need to use the generic harness which comes with the Tekonsha unit and wire it in yourself.

Answer:	The item fits and works well with my 2005 F150. Check with a dealer to find out if this harness connection is the same in the 2008 model.

Question:	How long is the warranty
Answer:	No this is not plug and play on a 1995 GM full sized truck. If the truck is equipped with a factory tow haul package then it should have trailer brake wiring taped back on the harness coming from the fuse block on the drivers fender and there’s also wiring taped back at the rear driver side of the frame. If it’s not there then you will have to wire the entire length of the truck.
Question:	What does this unit come with
Answer:	I think so it worked great on 2016 Silverado with the Tekonsha adapter. Plugged right in.
Question:	Does this connect to 2021 dodger Ram or do I need to purchase a wiring adapter? Thanks
Answer:	your truck should come with a built in break controller. mine did, it would be located above the buttons to turn off your rear view camera

Answer:	My package was damaged on arrival and no mounting bracket but the paperwork included states that there should have been.
