Question:	can it spool a standard 50 feet cable if I install it, 15 ' is not enough for me
Answer:	I've never seen it damage a surface, although I suppose it could, since it contains distillates (like toluene?) that might dissolve some materials. More importantly, this stuff is VERY sticky, so on a rough surface you would never be able to completely remove it. For that matter once it gets a good grip, it's about impossible to pull apart anyway. For example, I glued just the red plastic cover from a small reflector (with no backing) to the rear of the seat post on my bike -- just for fun, and extra safety. I put one blob on each side where the reflector touched the post, and masking taped the reflector in place till the glue dried. Years later when I replaced the seat and had to pull off the reflector, first it hadn't fallen off in the meantime, and second it was nearly impossible to get loose, then I had to work at remaining blobs of glue, stuck to chromed steel, with needle nose pliers, to yank them off the metal.

Answer:	Yes, I had good luck doing that with this. It's good at bonding surfaces that are different. I'd use rubbing alcohol on the surfaces first to clean them.

Question:	My old strap was threaded through the ratchet, this new one has a sewn in loop. How do I connect this end to the ratchet end
Answer:	On mine the strap went through a slot then where it came out it I placed a pice of cold roll through the little pocket on the strap and when you start cranking it that catches and you crank it on in.

Question:	What size wire should I use to get it to the back of my truck to install a plug there in case I need to use it from the back
Answer:	I think they misunderstood your question. The bracket does not require any wires, true, but your winch will. There are charts available online (for some reason I cannot attach here) that give you recommended wire gauge as a function of length and amperage. I would start with just replicating the wire size your winch uses already, maybe bump up a gauge and definitely nothing smaller, but note that longer length wires have more current drop (in DC). I use 4 gauge wire on a 12,000 APEX, but that is probably overkill.

Answer:	you can buy a roller fairlead most anywhere, Warn or Badlands makes them. The standard pattern fits both non and roller
Question:	What gauge sheet steel is used
Answer:	The main hitch tube is made of 1/4" steel and the rest of the body is made of 3/16" sheet steel. It's more than enough for a 12,000Lbs winch. I use mine on my mud truck to pull myself out of sticky situations.
