Answer:	I’ll clear that up for you, there are two (2) black plate holders. The confusion is about state requirements. Some states require you to have a front and black plate. Some states only require a back plate on your vehicle. So this 2 pack is just two (2) plates not 2 vehicles. Two physical black silicone plates. So if your state requires front and back plates, this will be for one car. If your state requires back only, this will provide you plate holders for two vehicles. But to be clear, there are two (2) physical silicone plate holders in this pack. 😉

Very good fit, simple installation, no unpleasant surprises. To install one on the front bumper would require a plastic supporting frame, Subaru does not provide any like Honda does. Get something a little more substantial, cheap one would not do it. Installing license plate to Subaru's front bumper is a little bit challenging. Good luck.

Answer:	The frame has 2 slots so water can leak out. As for the frame and the car thetes no more than your tag on your car. But with the screws tighten all the way the frame should act as a washer.

Answer:	Yes. Clear covers such as the Cruiser Accessories 76100 Tuf Flat Shield seat nicely along the front face border of this silicone frame. That's the setup I'm currently using. Really what you have to keep in mind is how much total thickness you will end up with and accommodate it using the appropriate length screws. This all varies with the cover and frame one selects.

Answer:	Unfortunately we do not sell longer screws, however typically standard hardware stores will have longer Screws and even some with black heads if you really want to keep with the black theme.

Answer:	There is no protection from scratching the paint on your vehicle. My car has thick threaded nylon bushings to mount the top of the license plate to, and rubber bumpers at the bottom to keep the plates and frames away from the painted surface. In the past I have purchased those adhesive rubber pads that you put on the bottom of lamps or whatever to keep from scratching your furniture or counter tops. stick them to the back of the plates or on your car. Answer:	My frames are surrounding a N.Y. plate and the entire plate is visible. They are covering only the outer edge giving the plate a clean finished look.
