Question:	Can these be painted - either with enamel or acrylic..given limited colors
Answer:	I am not sure, I never tried to paint them, it is made out of silicone so I am not sure? I bought it so my license plate wouldn't scratch my car.
Question:	I see the dimensions are 12.2 x 6.2 but what is the thickness or height of the frame
Answer:	The frame will fit any plate my only issue was the thinness of the outer layer. I have a clear license plate cover and it was very hard to put the frame on. The gloves attached does nothing and the yellow plastic stick either. If you only need it for the plate then it's good but no plate cover added. I bought it because I did not want my license plate to rub nor scratch the paint off on my vehicle.

Question:	What kind of screwdriver do you need to take plate of
Answer:	I imagine road debris, salt and age might dull the finish.You can keep it washed and waxed- as you do with your vehicle, that should protect it.
Question:	will it fit a 2018 Subaru forester
Answer:	There is no protection from scratching the paint on your vehicle. My car has thick threaded nylon bushings to mount the top of the license plate to, and rubber bumpers at the bottom to keep the plates and frames away from the painted surface. In the past I have purchased those adhesive rubber pads that you put on the bottom of lamps or whatever to keep from scratching your furniture or counter tops. stick them to the back of the plates or on your car.
