Answer:	Yes, the 2 inch receiver is part of the cargo carrier and is built into it. It is a straight receiver (not angled up), so check your exhaust prior to using this carrier. You might need to add a turned exhaust tip to direct the heat away from your cargo. We are very pleased with this cargo carrier, it is well constructed and assembly was fast and easy.

Answer:	Yes, it’s to clear the road when going up steep approaches into parking lots and driveways.

Answer:	They don’t. In my opinion the best option you have is to buy a mounting bracket. I’m actually looking into getting this light bar and I’m trying to find an answer to a question that’s already been answered possibly. I’m trying to find one that says it’s okay to mount on the brackets that you can buy and mount on the sides of the windshield using factory bolts instead of drilling holes. Since it is curved I’m having a hard time believing that it will go into the holes on the brackets without bending the brackets towards the bolts on the light bar. Unless the bolts are mounted straight out which is what I’m trying to find out.

Answer:	I’m not sure about yours specifically, but it’s fairly universal. We have used it behind our Tahoe, a mini van, and a pickup truck severa times. You need to have the correct receiver on your vehicle. With th basket down, I can fit between the basket and my Tahoe. If it’s loaded properly I can still open the hatch.
Question:	What is the distance between the end of the receiver and the basket
Answer:	Unless flames shoot out of your exhaust, you will be fine. If flames do shoot out of your exhaust, first, AWESOME, and second, you should probably have that looked at.
Question:	Will this fit a 2019 Toyota 4 runner
Answer:	If you have a spare tire on the back of your vehicle it may not be long enough to go into the hitch reciever. In my case, a Jeep wrangler 2015 spare tire blocked the ability for the carrier to reach the hitch reciever. It reached but could not be inserted enough to put the pin in.
Question:	Will this fit a 2019 Ford Escape? Will the dual exhaust be a concern for fire
Answer:	I purchased to truck mud flaps and cut them to fit the bottom, then I strapped a locking plastic box to the carrier. I drove from Alaska to Ohio and back without a problem..... the box still got some dirt on it, but then so did everything!

Answer:	You can always buy an extender that bridges the gap between the mount/receiver on the vehicle and the basket. It will lock in place and allow for more room between the tire and the basket if needed. I have one and will use it with my bike rack. Also, I purchased a two pack of locks so that I can lock the basket and the extension to the receiver. Purchased all of them on Amazon. I have a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica and there is not much room between the back door and the basket when folded up; my receiver is up under the back end and does not stick out very far. I actually put some pipe insulation rolls on the basket to protect the body if it bounced; put them on with Yellow duct tape to give it more visibility.

Question:	Is the rube beneath the basket a 2" tube - the same size as the tongue tube
Answer:	Yes, this is the same size.
Question:	Should I or do have to put reflector tape on it
Answer:	if it doesn't stick out 3 feet or more, no real reason to do that, but, if you think it would add a margin of safety, why not. That tape isn't that expensive. I put this on the back of my 5th wheel travel travel trailer. Because it is so large, I didn't feel the need to do that. If you're putting it on the back of a smaller car, might be a good idea. But, it isn't required.

Answer:	The answer is "anywhere that is convenient." On our Highlander I connected the top to the headrest posts and the bottom to the seat slide rails. On my F350 I used the headrest posts and some factory hooks beneath the seats.

Answer:	I take the hook of the strap to the center rail on the bottom half... its a tight fit (and you drive over the hook) but seems to be fine, and is the strongest spot to connect to (wouldn't trust hooking the "vent" plating")Good Luck.The other end connects to the chain hooks on your truck (or somewhere secure).

Answer:	The website says 44#.. Myself, being a weakling.. I have no problem with them.. I LOVEEEE them. Much better than two 2x8's with crappy drilled in metal ramp kits.

Question:	What is the maximum tire width? My trail bike has tires that are 7 inches wide - will it fit
Answer:	The width between the square tubes is about 5 3/4" , that being said, if the middle of your tire drops say 1" to 2" before the tire width becomes 5 3/4" then if would work great. Not sure that's very clear but your tire is probably pretty rounded where it meets the ground. You just need that radius to be small enough that it'll fit in the trough so when you strap it down that radius will drop into that trough and won't let it move around.

Answer:	No, I had to put a bolt at the bottom to make it more sturdy. I towed my harley 998 miles, when you turn, the bike would lean left or right but as soon as you go straight the bike would straightened up. It wouldn't swivel on reverse. So if you are towing your bike and need to stop. Make sure you part in a way that you can leave forward. I hope that answers your question
