Answer:	Yes and no. It can work but you will need to get a extra strap to go threw your car. We had to do that and it held great from IL to MN.

Instructions for Installation on Roof with Racks

Step 1

Unfold the cargo bag.

Step 2

Place the bag between the side-rails/crossbars of the car rack, at least 8 inches away from the front edge of the roof. The cargo bag is flexible and can be fit in the space between the rails.

Step 3

Thread the front and back straps under the crossbars, and close the buckles.

Step 4

Close the buckles, and tighten the straps to make sure the bag is securely mounted.

Warm Tips:

1. Please tighten the fixing straps after installation to prevent movement during driving.

2.Since this product is soft shell, don't put sharp things in it.

3.Don't load goods that exceed the height of the product and put them in order.

Answer:	My Sorrento did not have cross bars. I used generic add on cross bars and fastened straps front and back. Took 3500 mile round trip with no problems. Would recommend at least front cross bar to prevent bag from possibly sliding back

Answer:	I was able to rig it up using just the crossbars on my 2018 CR-V (no rails). First, this is a big bag, so it might hang over the rear crossbar. I was able to secure the rear by attaching it to the trunk, but it was hacky and didn't leave me feeling confident. The instructions that came with this do not explain how to do this with cross bars only, and there are 8 straps. Despite the fact that I hacked it together, I pulled all of the straps tight, and connected all of them to the cross bars / trunk. I basically forgot I even had this bag on the roof - I was on the highway doing 65 MPH on a very windy day, and it worked like a charm. I also used a roof mat to protect the roof, but I do not know if that did anything to help. I think I might get a basket to connect this for next time, but it did work well without it.

Question:	Will the "without a rack" straps work on a minivan with sliding doors
Answer:	I have side rails only (front to back) without cross bars and it worked perfectly without the cross bars.Just make sure you attach the straps to the posts that connect the side rails to the car so the straps and bag don't slide. It didn't budge an inch on my Pilot all the way from Ohio to Florida and back.

Answer:	I have a 2006 Hyundai Elantra and while the bag’s size would fit atop the car you would have to purchase some sort of bracket or hook to secure it to the vehicle.

Answer:	I bought this for my son's 1999 Honda Accord when he moved to live with me for a while. His car needed the rooftop cargo tie down hook and ratchet straps to secure it to the roof of the car. If you have the rails on top fo the Flex this will work perfectly, if you don't you will need rooftop cargo tie down hook and ratchet straps. The straps provided were too long with tie downs and very hard to get off if you need to remove the cargo bag at over nite stops

Open your door and carefully pull back the weatherstripping seal.

Step 2

With the seal pulled back, place one of the 6 included door hooks on the metal doorframe.

Question:	Is this a soft bag, or rigid bottom/sidewalls
Answer:	This is a soft sided bag with a soft bottom... Very flexible and will mold to almost any shape. Very durable. We wad it up and stuff into a RubberMaid tub for storage when not using. The bag comes in a reusable storage bag.
Question:	It says with or without rack. I have a small hatchback car no rails or anything on the roof. Will this work with the straps threw the car doors
Answer:	Yes. I don’t have roof rails or cross bars either. The straps go through the doors and it worked perfectly.
Question:	The description says that it was 100% waterproof but some of the reviews stated that it was not. Can you confirm that it is indeed waterproof
Answer:	I can't say I'm 100% positive. But we used our cargo bag for a trip to Disney during the March 2018 snow storm that hit Pa to Maryland and everything we had in there made it to Disney with no issues.
