Question:	My cross rails are 27" on center, when drilling new holes, do I drill new holes at the front or rear
Answer:	By the way you ask your question, I assume your cross rails are not adjustable. You would have to drill at the rear of the carrier, because the carrier starts to bow at the front end only a couple inches past the far front hole. Depending on the contour of your cross rail, you may only have to drill one hole per side, because the mounting holes for each bracket are 4" on center, and the distance from center to center of the mounting brackets is 24", so you are only moving C2C by 3"s. Hope this helps, I would have attached a picture, but see no option for attachments.

Answer:	Fits perfectly on my Toyota Highlander factory fitted aeroblade.

Answer:	It all depends on the type of roof racks you have. If there not adjustable, it would have to be 22 inches of separation from each other . Or you can also make your own adjustments on the cargo carrier box itself , to make it fit.
Question:	What does this do to gas mileage
Answer:	It does affect MPG on highway speeds. Simple physics, you have much more drag and faster you go the more it affects MPG. I drove 4,200 miles with it, mostly 70-85 MPH and my Highlander's MPG went from the usual 21-22 MPG down to 18-19 MPG. If you drive at low speeds, up to 45 MPH, there is minimal affect on MPG, I have noticed that as part of my trip was driving in Yellowstone and inside RMNP; you definitely cannot go fast in there.

Open your door and carefully pull back the weatherstripping seal.

Answer:	If you mean how high will the bag go? What they say the dimensions are are true to size.

Answer:	The product description states it is a triple seal option. I'm not certain how it improves this already very sturdy tough secure bag. I purchased the regular bag and had no problems even in 50mph winds while traveling 80mph in 105 degree days in Southern Arizona. I did however use the X strapping style. For the high winds.

Answer:	Yes and no. It can work but you will need to get a extra strap to go threw your car. We had to do that and it held great from IL to MN.

Question:	How do straps fasten to side rails AND crossbars
Answer:	Mounted rack
Question:	has anyone tried 10 carryons
Answer:	I do not know if it will fit your Jeep. I drive a 2010 Toyota RAV4 with a side opening tailgate and use this rack. As far as being able to open the tailgate when it is in place, if your lower straps have to anchor on to your bumper, or anything underneath the bumper, then you will not be able to open the tailgate while it is installed. There are no convenient attachments on my car for the lower straps, so I anchor them to the tie-down rings inside the rear compartment, then I close the door on the straps and cinch them up. I have to remove the rack to open the tailgate. This is the only rack that I have found to fit on my car, and it is fairly easy to take on and off the car. The hardest part for me is putting the rigid tire cover back on the spare, but the rack itself is easy.

Answer:	Yes, I had it on a 2013 Sienna, And if additional holes are needed to suite your placement, the holes a super easy to drill because the plastic is about as thick as a trash can.

Answer:	Not sure I drive Ford's smallest SUV the Ecosport. We did have to drill two extra screw holes to have it fit my cross bars.
Question:	What is the distance between anchor points on roof rack
Answer:	Four holes per side, 18" between inside holes and 26" outside. Center of bars 22". I drilled new hole on each side for more separation, couldn't move my bars close enough.

Answer:	Just 2 and you'll have to take the drivers out and lay them on top of the bags.

Answer:	I have used this product by laying it in the bed of my pickup truck. I do lay it on 2 x 4s. Works great and a lot cheaper than a tonto cover.

Answer:	My Sorrento did not have cross bars. I used generic add on cross bars and fastened straps front and back. Took 3500 mile round trip with no problems. Would recommend at least front cross bar to prevent bag from possibly sliding back

Answer:	I was able to rig it up using just the crossbars on my 2018 CR-V (no rails). First, this is a big bag, so it might hang over the rear crossbar. I was able to secure the rear by attaching it to the trunk, but it was hacky and didn't leave me feeling confident. The instructions that came with this do not explain how to do this with cross bars only, and there are 8 straps. Despite the fact that I hacked it together, I pulled all of the straps tight, and connected all of them to the cross bars / trunk. I basically forgot I even had this bag on the roof - I was on the highway doing 65 MPH on a very windy day, and it worked like a charm. I also used a roof mat to protect the roof, but I do not know if that did anything to help. I think I might get a basket to connect this for next time, but it did work well without it.

Question:	I plan on using this on a Dodge Grand Caravan with sliding doors and no roof rack. Will the sliders close when running straps through the car? Thanks
Answer:	The Rightline Gear Sport 2 Carrier will not work on a van with sliding doors if you do not have a roof rack. The straps will interfere with the closing of the door. We would recommend the Rightline Gear Cargo Saddlebag. Question:	Are the clips included? It says they are in the first part but in the bottom details it says they're not
Answer:	They are not included, however you do not need them if you don't have a roof rack. I bought the clips, but I ended up not using them since I ran the strap through the door frame into the car and out the other end. Worked fine for my cross country trip.I do recommend the pad (or a yoga mat) underneath to prevent shifting and scratches. I used it on a 2011 Toyota Camry.
Question:	Can this be mounted on an aftermarket rack with only 2 cross bars and no rails
Answer:	You don't need any bars or rails to use this. It's not mounted but just strapped on with straps running through inside the car along the roof. Hope that helps.
Question:	Does it make noise while traveling
Answer:	If you leave the straps straight it will make a horrible noise. So be sure to put a few twists in the straps, that cuts the wind noise.

Question:	how do we install this
Answer:	I used a pair on a bench that measures 25 x 15. My suggestion would be to use no less than 3 legs for the base of a 42 inch round table.
Question:	Most of the carriers are 48x20, including the curt carrier i was looking at. the bag itself lists the demensions as 48x21.7. are there issues
Answer:	Not sure, but my wife and I both sit on our bench without issue and combined we're about 400 lbs.

Answer:	There is a flap over the zipper, so it is waterproof to normal rain. It would not be totally waterproof if it is submerged.

Answer:	I got one with the carrier. It’s like those thin, foam pads you can put under a carpet, to make it non-slip. Similar to what you can put in cabinets to protect them, make them non-slip also. So, crappy that you didn’t get one, but, it should be inexpensive enough to just go buy a sheet of it.
