Answer:	DON'T EVER BUY SAFETY GEAR FROM AMAZON! I never reviewed or bought this product but Amazon is asking for my feedback. I did buy roof racks and they snapped and twisted like a curly pasta noodle after less than 4 months of use. Flying across 4 lanes of freeway traffic was my new kayak in the middle of the cold rainy night. I had them professinally installed but the rack themselves are what failed. I had a lightweight kayak and it couldn't handle it. Don't trust any roof racks or safety equipment from Amazon. They don't care if the product is completely unsafe and will not offer any assistance if the product fails dangerously. They didn't bother to read the details of a highway incident related to roof racks sold on their website. They sent back a scripted reply. I had to point out to them how a serious accident or death might have occurred. They wrote a gee we are sorry note and did nothing. The roof racks are still on their website. Money is the only concern. Human lives are secondary. Bezos sucks!

Answer:	The crossbars are nice to have but not essential. The straps that come with it are long enough to go in the window opening and through to the other side.

Answer:	The Rightline Gear Sport 2 Carrier will not work on a van with sliding doors if you do not have a roof rack. The straps will interfere with the closing of the door. Question:	Are the clips included? It says they are in the first part but in the bottom details it says they're not
Answer:	They are not included, however you do not need them if you don't have a roof rack. I bought the clips, but I ended up not using them since I ran the strap through the door frame into the car and out the other end. Worked fine for my cross country trip.I do recommend the pad (or a yoga mat) underneath to prevent shifting and scratches. I used it on a 2011 Toyota Camry.
Question:	Can this be mounted on an aftermarket rack with only 2 cross bars and no rails
Answer:	You don't need any bars or rails to use this. It's not mounted but just strapped on with straps running through inside the car along the roof. Hope that helps.

Answer:	If you leave the straps straight it will make a horrible noise. So be sure to put a few twists in the straps, that cuts the wind noise.
