Answer:	Crossbars are not necessary. There are plenty of straps to secure it to the side rails. But, I advise against this product. I returned mine after first use. It’s not waterproof and one of the attached straps ripped off easily. I recommend you look at the Amazon Basics equivalent product.
Question:	Which side faces back? Photos show “Hi Journey”(with no zipper) facing forward, but the directions say the side with no zipper goes in the back
Answer:	I do not believe it came with them. However it’s a pretty easy set up. Place on roof between roof racks and place buckled under rails. Once full and zipped shut then clip buckles that went around the rails to the clips above. Use the tied down straps to cinch the load down by threading them through the racks from one side to the other. Cinch and buckle. Note you need to tuck the extra strap under or tie it or it annoyingly flaps in the wind being noisy.

Answer:	We used ours w Toyota 4 runner and it overlapped the cross-members. But The straps are adjustable to fit almost anything.

Answer:	I have owned this scanner for a few months and its never died on me. I always charge it up before i go out. I usually spend a few hrs using it at a time.

Answer:	No. The answer given is incorrect. I bought this scanner and it would not read QRCodes. After contacting the seller I was told in an email that 1D scanners will not read QRCodes because it is a laser scanner. It can only read long barcodes. You would need a 1D/2D scanner to read QRCodes so now I have to send it back.
