STEP 1: Clean Bumper

Clean the surface of your bumper with a clean cloth. Then, using the alcohol wipe provided, wipe down the bumper until clean. Let any excess residue dry prior to installation.

PLEASE NOTE: Your vehicle should be at least 75°F for proper installation.

STEP 2: Line Up Arrow With Trunk Latch

To place your bumper protector properly, start by lining up the arrow on the bumper cover with the trunk latch located within the trunk of your vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not remove tape yet.

STEP 3: Dry Fit

After centering the bumper protector, carefully bend the sides along the curvature of your vehicle's bumper. This step is to ensure that you are happy with the placement before fully installing the bumper protector.

STEP 4: Remove 3M Tape

Remove all tape lining from the underside of the bumper protector. Do not touch tape or place onto a surface other than your bumper.

STEP 5: Place Center Down

Carefully place the center of your bumper protector down. Once again, you will line up the arrow on the bumper protector with the trunk latch. You will want to keep the bumper protector as close to the edge of your bumper as possible.

STEP 6: Bend To Match Bumper Curvature

Placing one side at a time, carefully guide the bumper protector along the curvature of your bumper.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not press down until you are completely happy with fitment. This allows you to pull bumper cover back up if a mistake has been made.

STEP 7: Press Down Firmly

Using a clean cloth, firmly press down on bumper protector.

STEP 8: Finished

You're done! Please allow up to 24 hours before washing your vehicle or traveling through inclement weather.

Answer:	From what I understand, the adhesive used on Bumper X is a 3M product which is very similar to adhesives used for other "stick on" automotive products. It can be peeled back off by hand and any residue can be removed with rubbing alcohol. It should not damage anything unless the finish underneath was defective to begin with. I.E. already cracked, peeling, clearcoat affected by the sun, etc.

Answer:	This is not the best answer for protection it's more for hiding a damaged bumper or just for looks it has an adhesive backing which in time these are easy to come off.

2. Groovy surface on top, place the sill guard onto the surface (without tape) and adjust to fit the correct position (use non-permanent marker and ruler to help positioning).
3. Mark the position and then remove to sill guard for 3M tape.Unspool the 3M tape and stick it on the opposite side of the groovy surface. Use scissors to cut the tape and repeat the step until four edges + the center of the guard is covered by tape.
4. Now, stick the sill guard onto the marked position and gently press all around the guard to ensure good adhesion.

Step 1: Center over bumper

Center the Bumper Protector over the rear bumper.

Adjust the height.

Attach the top straps to the carpet inside the trunk with the Velcro ends.

Your trunk should close as usual.

Step 2: Attach side straps

Attach the side nylon strap hooks around the sides of your bumper.

Make sure the foam pads come into the hooks to prevent scratching.

Step 3: Adjust side straps

Tighten the nylon straps as needed to produce a tight fit.

When done correctly, the straps will hold the bumper protector securely.

Follow Step 1 in the installation above.

For a minimalist look, remove the side straps.

Stick the Velcro surface to each ends with the adhesive side facing your bumper.

Step 2: Clean the bumper

Clean the side of the bumper with the supplied alcohol swab.

Dirt can prevent the Velcro sticker to adhere to the bumper's surface.

So be thorough.

Step 3: Stick Velcro pads

Peel off the sticker.

Attach the edges of the Bumper Protector to the side of the bumper you just cleaned.

Repeat for the other end.

Step 4: Installation complete

STEP 1: Clean Bumper

Clean the surface of your bumper with a clean cloth. Then, using the alcohol wipe provided, wipe down the bumper until clean. Let any excess residue dry prior to installation.

PLEASE NOTE: Your vehicle should be at least 75°F for proper installation.

STEP 2: Line Up Arrow With Trunk Latch

To place your bumper protector properly, start by lining up the arrow on the bumper cover with the trunk latch located within the trunk of your vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not remove tape yet.

STEP 3: Dry Fit

After centering the bumper protector, carefully bend the sides along the curvature of your vehicle's bumper. This step is to ensure that you are happy with the placement before fully installing the bumper protector.

STEP 4: Remove 3M Tape

Remove all tape lining from the underside of the bumper protector. Do not touch tape or place onto a surface other than your bumper.

STEP 5: Place Center Down

Carefully place the center of your bumper protector down. Once again, you will line up the arrow on the bumper protector with the trunk latch. You will want to keep the bumper protector as close to the edge of your bumper as possible.

STEP 6: Bend To Match Bumper Curvature

Placing one side at a time, carefully guide the bumper protector along the curvature of your bumper.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not press down until you are completely happy with fitment. This allows you to pull bumper cover back up if a mistake has been made.

STEP 7: Press Down Firmly

Using a clean cloth, firmly press down on bumper protector.

STEP 8: Finished

You're done! Please allow up to 24 hours before washing your vehicle or traveling through inclement weather.
