Answer:	Our lids are not vacuumed sealed. Due to rubber border, lids close the bowls quite tight, but it is not vacuum sealed. For example, you cannot pour water into the bowl and turn it over or drop. Lids are tight but not locked. For complete closing, it should be threaded lids, but it is another type of container aimed especially for storage only. Nevertheless, our lids are good enough for food storage in the refrigerator. They help to keep food fresh and avoid any smell penetration from the outside. As regards opening tools, the lids have special handles to get them off (see 3d picture of the listing).
