Answer:	According to the instructions you need to use alcohol to smooth out the repair. I would think that only alcohol based products would remove the compound. Armoral is more of a finish than a harsh cleaner, I think you’ll be fine.

Question:	Would this fix a hole in a cloth chair
Answer:	YES. I bought this pan to sear steaks. It holds 3 or 4 NY strips, depending on size. The problem is that the iron itself is not what sears a steak... the oil in the pan is what sears. Problem is the center of my pan is domed upward, so that the oil immediately runs off to the very edges of the pan. So the whole time I have to be tilting the pan to run the oil fron one edge, through the steaks, and then the oil keeps going to the other side. I did not abuse it or put cold water on it soon after cooking. Many, many other reviers also notice the dome in the middle. THERE IS A FIX!! Take 4 or 5 7"-9" long pieces of 2x4 wood. Arrange the wood pieces in sort of a circle around a 6" empty space in the middle, on concrete or hard dirt. Have at hand a rubber mallet hammer such as TEKTON 30501 here on amazon. Heat the pan up to the smoking point of grapeseed or avocado oil (I use avocado which smokes at 520F). Or even 30 to 60 seconds past smoking point. Now, place the pan facing up in the center of the wood ring you prepared. Put a 5-6" square piece of folded aluminum foil in the center of the hot pan (so that the rubber in the mallet does not stick to the hot pan) . Now, use the mallet to pound the center of the pan really hard, several times. Then use a straight piece of wood of about 6" to check to see if it still rocks, meaning you haven't hit it hard enough or enough times because there is still some dome. Repeat a second time. If it is still domed, heat it up again on the stove because at this point it is too cold to try again. This time, after the pan is hot again, pound harder, I mean really hard. Then check to see if the dome is gone. I was about to throw out my Lodge and replace it with De Buyer or Matfer because of the dome, but I fixed the Lodge's dome and didn't have to throw it out.

Answer:	The finish is somewhat rough, but has caused no problems for me. Will get better with continued use. Helpful to do additional seasoning on top of the stove and be sure to heat the pan after each use and rub in a small amount of oil and allow to cool. Cast iron is good, but carbon steel is king!

Answer:	Shippin Weight is 15 pounds. I am guessing weight is 13 pounds. Skillet probably 10 pounds and Lid is probably 3 pounds. This is clearly a heavyweight skillet. This means, if you want to tilt it and use spatula to move something out, it is a 2 preson job, onr to tile pan and 1 to use the spatula. I use mine on glass cooktop, so am extra careful. Sometimes by finished cooking, expecially if I go throuh multiple cook empty cycles and then wash it, I feel like I have been through a workout.I haven't decided, if my wife is afraid to clean it or just considers it to heavy for her. It is really my treat. And I've never had better steaks other than in a great steakhouse, not a chain than since I bought the skillet.Let steak come to room temperature, dry if moist, heavily salt with sea salt and use equal or more coarse ground pepper. Have skillet warmed up on medium or a bit less. Toss steak in and let it sear should hear sizzling, if not, it wasn't hot enough. for 3/4" to 1" thick -- 2 minutes a side, if someone wants it more well than medium rare, take pan off heat and put lid on. until it is almost where they want it. Sit on a rack over a plate for about 10 minute rest and enjoy. Bought some marked down rib eyes that were thin, about 3/8" at Kroger last night. wife loved them because they were medium after the 4 minutes searing, 2 each side. I still enjoyed mine because tender and juicy. But I really prefer a steak I have to run to catch! Sorry for the digression!

Question:	Does this remove dried grease stains on white leather sofa
Answer:	I think it would remove the grease stain because I had a greasy stain on the headrest of my car with leather upholstery and this was the only leather product that removed it. I tried several others before this. First you use the spray on a rag to rub the stain out, then you condition with the liquid. I did have to rub somewhat hard but I was careful not to damage the leather in the process.

Answer:	Lexol should treat nuluxe just fine. It can treat vinyl with no problem, so I personally do not think there will be a problem with nuluxe. One thing I do know, is that the Lexol will make your nuluxe smell like it's expensive leather. If not, you've only wasted $10-12.00. No big deal. But personally, I think you'll be happy.
Question:	Does it help with cracks
Answer:	Not sure what you mean by "help." I've not used this product on cracked leather, but I have used a leather conditioner on boots that show some cracks. The cracks won't go away, but they won't get worse because the conditioner moisturizes the leather.

Answer:	Yes I use it on my cars with beige leather. I can say it works great, it’s the only brand I buy.

Answer:	I honestly don’t know but product has a strong leather like scent, apply and leave on for a few minutes then wipe off. Hope it works. What did you tell your wife how that perfume scent got there, OR, better use bedroom next time

Answer:	The alcohol kinda damaged your wallet, the conditioner might work in restoring the oils in the leather. I believe the alcohol removes colors and oils if let standing on wood and leather. I haven't ran into that issue so I really can't give you a straight answer.
