Recommended for use on threaded galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, fiberglass reinforced, PVC, CPVC, and ABS pipe. T Plus 2 may be pressurized immediately following application. Conforms to TT-S-1732.

Question:	Will this work for a pressure pot with a 40 to 45 PSI
Answer:	What is on your valves is exactly this Loctite product. Primary use is sealant in place "as supplied" from the manufacturer.
Question:	Can this be used for potable water tank spigots
Answer:	It probably will for a while , but it will leak again . If the fitting is loose you could try teflon tape or you could try to tap the hole out a little and try to turn the fitting one complete turn to get it to tighten up.
Question:	Can you use this and teflon tape? my taped plastic threads are leaking on my in-line water filter and i don't want to try more than one fix
Answer:	To my knowledge it will only work if you put it inside the threads - as you are assembling it. And it works pretty well doing that. Worked on a 3000+ psi hydraulic connection that was continually leaking.
Question:	Will this work on my cpvc to watwr supply line under my sink? Teflon tape didnt work. Small drip every minute
Answer:	Dries semi hard but hard enough that you can leave a fingernail imprint. it's not difficult to disassemble anything. I really like this stuff

Answer:	Acetone.
Question:	Using on compressed air system, 100 psi max. Seal quality seems great, I installed just over a week ago & the sealant is still wet. Will it harden
Answer:	This material does not harden.
Question:	Can this be used for pool PVC pipes with a higher chlorine level
Answer:	I'd guess that the sealant won't stick to teflon tape, so either or both would probably work. However, why not just use more tape?
Question:	How soon can water be turned on after connections made
Answer:	I used it fro a water line connection for an ice maker,i don't think I would use it for flammable liquids or automotive uses

Question:	Will this stop the garbage disposal from vibrating my PVC threaded connections loose
Answer:	It might but I doubt it. It is meant for pool pump joints that are plastic to plastic to make them water tight like plumbers putty or tape. If there is enough vibration to shake a connection loose there is something wrong with your disposal.
Question:	Is this product compatible with abs plastic? i see that rectorseal no. 5 is not recommended for use with abs
Answer:	Yes, I have used it on ABS often, no problems.
Question:	will this work on glass
Answer:	This is for plumbing fittings on screw threads. Not sure what your application entails. It dos not harden, and stays flexible, and allows disassembly.
Question:	Swapping out pipes on pool pump. how do i remove the old plasto-joint from the internal threads on pump; i.e. stuff left when i removed the old pipe
Answer:	I used an old toothbrush & rag and scrubbed the internal threads over and over again.
