Answer:	Yes, you can spray that primer/sealer on and let the parts sit forever but before spraying base coat you must wet-sand the primer/sealer. I recommend using 600-grit to wet-sand.

Answer:	I would double check with the manufacturer but expoxy when cured has no open pores so it does not let anything penatrate it even water. you would be fine for the monthes it is the closest thing to factory E-coat.

Answer:	This is primarily used to seal old leaking gas tanks that are too hard to find or expensive to replace if you tank is new i would not go through the trouble.
Question:	which applicator gun works good with this item; sem
Answer:	While this is made and marketed for internal use, I have used excess material to paint the exterior of the tanks. It sets up hard but may be vulnerable to UV rays. Don't know, the tanks were in a protected environment. If you are considering painting the outside of you tank in order to seal it, don't. The tank will continue to rust from the inside and the rusty fuel will be a problem.
Question:	Does this product come with the tip that mixes the sealer when it comes out
Answer:	Not likely. I used it to coat a steel custom motorcycle tank as instructed by the manufacture -- he actually gave me the POR 15 to do it. After rolling the tank as instructed to distribute the sealant, the surplus was drained into a plastic 5 gallon paint jug. This sealant was quite hard when fully cured and did not adhere all that strongly to the jug. By flexing the plastic I was able to remove the hardened sealant without damaging the jug. So it did indeed coat the plastic, but it doesn't seem to be designed for that use.
