Put it on, and by the time I've completely covered the panel, it has dried. Then I take it off with a microfiber cloth. I've never used a buffer. Has been a great product over the many years I've used it.

I have change the filter twice with a new one and have cleaned it an blown it out and blew out the gills with a air suppl at low pressure probably 1000 times. Do not use this vacum to pick up wet things at all. It will do it np, but whatever you put into it stays in it till you clean it out. Answer:	It is a cleaner (deoxidizer) AND a wax. It does leave a slick slippery finish. Thus I do not use it on the deck of my sailboat where I walk and work. It is useful for cleaning the vertical walls of the hull, and the gunwales. I would advise you NOT to use this product on surfaces of the boat you walk upon. Hope this helps.

Answer:	All these products have a good percent of petroleum ,all waxes do.So if u r looking for a water based productThey r available.
Question:	What product can i put on top of this wax to make better protection/shine? I know you can use paint sealant and then wax
Answer:	I personally put a layer of this down then after buffing it off a layer of high quality natural wax. The natural wax will wear off in about a month then you have a good 3-6 moths of additional coverage from the 3m.
Question:	I understand a carnauba wax shines better, yet this wax which is synthetic lasts longer. Is it okay to alternate the two? Will I really notice a better shine with a carnauba wax
Answer:	best wax I've used I'm 77 Easy to apply,LONG lasting,Great shine.
Question:	What is the shelf life of the product after the bottle is opened
Answer:	I have no specific technical information on shelf life, but I have been using it for years and have never noticed any sign of degradation of the product. You shake it well before using it of course, but I would not hesitate to use a bottle that had been on the shelf for a decade.

Answer:	Product comes with green label # 9007. Might just be an old picture.

Answer:	A quart is probably enough. Needs to be applied with machine. Product is very gritty and needs to be broken down by DA or rotary to achieve results. Intended for heavily oxidized (burnt, dull faded) gel coats. One time application will last several months

Answer:	A severe oxidation removal pad.such as the yellow cutting pad from chemical guys.
Question:	How would decide whether you need this of product
Answer:	If the gel coat is oxidized or chalky you would need to use this product or one with more aggressive cutting compound in it to restore the finish.

Question:	What is the OD (outside diameter) of the tube where it attaches to the 360 degree tip
Answer:	Not sure what you’re getting at but the tube is 4.5mm O.D. The 3M tube has both a fluid tip that fits inside the end of the tube as well as a push button/nozzle to attach to an aerosol bottle. The aerosol bottle needs to have a male nipple to attach this 3M product.
