Question:	can you spray this over rust to prevent further damage
Answer:	From your description (“didn’t penetrate the clearcoat”), I’d say this will work for you. Two suggestions: (1) use an orbital buffer to apply this rather that trying by hand which tends to apply uneven pressure, and (2) I have had better success using 2-3 light pressure applications than trying to remove marks in one session. Question:	I just had my truck undercoated by a shop. In some spots they just sprayed over the rust will this still work
Answer:	I would use this instead of a clay bar. It is a surface cleaner not a polish. However, after using the surface of the vehicle is smooth and water stands up on it very well. I have not tried any of the new ceramic polishes yet but using this product first to prep/clean the paint surface is the way to go.
Question:	Whats the approx cure time
Answer:	Without question, 3M has the best product for boats gelcoat. Our 30 foot Tolleycraft has shined like new by using 3M products.

Answer:	I used this product to remove scuff marks on my black BMW and it worked well. I tried it on some of the scratches without much success. I used the product in a few small areas applying by hand with an applicator pad in a cross hatch motion followed by a wipe with a micro fiber cloth. Overall I was happy with the results. The directions say to follow up with Griot's wax or sealant. I hope this was helpful.

Question:	Will this fit wool wax quart bottle
Answer:	I had oil spots and I used an acid to clean the spots to make sure the epoxy was able to bond to the concrete. In areas where I failed to do this, the epoxy later peeled and I had to redo those spots. You must clean those areas thoroughly. I used muratic acid on the spots.
Question:	Having trouble finding plastic bottle which would fit the spray gun. Anyone tried it pls share the link
Answer:	I don’t think they recommend it. I sure would not.
Question:	Can you recommend a canister/bottle that would fit? I want to spray smaller batches out of a bulk container
Answer:	Yes etch does come with it. But I suggest getting a concrete cleaner also. Make sure to rinse at least five times. And then wait three days for it to dry before you coat. I waited two and we got air bubbles.

Answer:	I used this product to line the surface of a sorting table on a crabbing boat. It is holding up very well so far under very rough use. A single can doesn't go very far in terms of area covered.

Answer:	It's a tall can. I used it to spray 7 coats on the underside of the rail on one side of my civic and still have a good amount left. Warning that it does tacky/sticky- even after 48 hrs, and it is meant that way. Contrary to intuition, it was designed to be paintable in this state and will accept your primer then base coat afterwards just fine.

Answer:	The label says it contains Toluene and Acetone. I suspect this will melt plastic. Acetone is a pretty strong solvent.

Answer:	Yes but you need to prime any bare metal before application per the directions on the can. POR-15 rust coating would be great to use first after removing loose rust and cleaning.

Answer:	It is recommended that you clean and prepare the surface with a product like MetalReady prior to spraying it with POR to get the best result. Read up on how to use this product effectively and safely. If you get it on your skin, you will wear it for a week or more. It cures in humid conditions; wear a respirator prior to spraying to avoid breathing in particulates.

Answer:	Ginger is right. It takes about a week for the smell to go away. Buy outdoors you may not notice it.

Answer:	Protection against what? It would certainly deaden the sound, though I couldn't say how much. However, I'll warn you, it is a very rough finish, not smooth, and very difficult to remove. So if you plan on using it, tape off your part well, and don't expect it to look pretty.
