Question:	How do you remove the sticky glue on back side of velcro once it has served its purpose
Answer:	Soak it in a small container of isopropyl alcohol for about 8 hours and it will remove the glue from the backside.
Question:	Would this product work to adhere canvas doors to a steel frame of an all terrain vehicle? We live in Wisconsin with varying weather conditions
Answer:	Although I didn't use it on canvas, it work on metal, plastic and with stands this Oklahoma weather

Answer:	In general, Velcro made for gluing does not always hold good to most fabric. It is sort of hit or miss on fabrics with best result by putting the attached material with the new Velcro in a press for several hours.. I do not recommend a loss of either the fabric or the Velcro. In specific, it is a bad idea to try to use a sewing machine to sew Velcro made for gluing on to anything because the glue from the back of the Velcro begins to accumulate on the machine needle and on the thread as it passes through the sticky layer.. Then, things sort-of come to a stand still. As a last resort, one can hand or manually sew the sticky Velcro to fabric but one has the same problem with accumulating glue on the needle and thread. It becomes a laborious stick mess on both the needle and the thread.
Question:	How strong is this velcro? I have a cat bed thats for the window that canr with velcro, but my 16lb cat ruins the velcro everytime he uses it

It is smoother to the touch than the regular hook 88 you would find on standard VELCRO tape however it is not soft enough for direct skin contact. Also keep in mind the hook and loop are bonded together on one piece so one side has the hook and one side is the loop. There are not two separate pieces. The product is designed to engage itself and be used to bundle cords and cables.

Answer:	I'm no expert, all I can tell you is based on my experience with the product. I know what it claims and I know the results I've had so far. The hook & loop portion works really good. I have used it on power strips, shelves, lights, inside emergency callboxes to hold the battery in place, more lights, both aluminum and plastic signs and a host of other projects. Even though I thoroughly cleaned every surface with denatured rubbing alcohol I still experienced problems with the adhesive releasing over time. It didn't matter if it was inside or out, hot or cold, it almost always failed if it had any weight at all. What I ended up doing, that has worked the best for me is to apply and spread a very thin coat of Gorilla Super Glue Gel. MAKE SURE IT'S THE GEL as anything else is too thin and runny. So far after close to 6 months everything seems to be holding with no issues. I experimented with a WIDE range of glues and industrial strength adhesives and after three months of testing and failing finally discovered the Gorilla brand has given me the best results. An added bonus is it's clear so if a small amount seeps out on the edge during application it all but disappears once dry. Someone else may have another solution that works for them but this is what I have done and continue to do and has given me the best results. Good luck with your project.

Answer:	That would depend on home much tape you use. A 1" piece wouldn't. But something much larger, or multiple tapes, would. It also depends on the type of wall and the object you're hanging. This tape is great with sheer force. I have a LARGE canvas map hung in my classroom that is way more than 1 lb. It has four 4" pieces of tape. Hope this helps.
Question:	Is this industrial strength? Will it hold computer/office equipment in an earthquake
Answer:	This is an intriguing question! In an attempt to see if it would, I purchased a brand-new, state of the art, water cooled, over-clocked gaming computer, with all the bells and whistles such as a gyroscopic gaming chair, virtual reality headset, mounted Bluetooth speakers, etc. to a faux ceiling using this hook and loop fastener system. I used an abundance of the fasteners, calculating out the weight of the system and added 50% more load bearing hook and loop straps than needed, to err on the side of caution. I then mounted two 660 volt 3-phase Vibco industrial concrete vibrating motors onto the faux ceiling, out of phase of course, to maximize vibration. The entire assembly was hoisted up 20 feet above concrete and switched on. Unfortunately, it immediately came crashing down, completely destroying the $12,000 system. So, no, it won’t protect computers in an earthquake, but it might work for a small waterspout or locust invasion.

Answer:	Hi,Yes, this is both the hook side and the loop side which is already stuck together so you can cut it to the length that you need, then peel the backing off of both sides and stick it in place. I might add, the adhesive and Velcro are both very strong, so the glue will notpull off of whatever you have it stuck to, and the two sides of the Velcro will not come apart easily. This is a good product.
