Question:	Can you embroider with this machine
Answer:	Even though this machine is not an embroidery machine, you can learn to do beautiful embroidery work on it by learning free motion embroidery. In fact, one of the cool presser feet that comes with this machine is the open toe darning foot, which is a bonus!... People who wish to embroider, use this foot to do so. You Tube has many fine videos that will show you how to do free motion embroidery, on a regular machine, with just an everyday wooden hoop. Just type in free motion embroidery tutorials in the you tube search area, and you will be busy for hours, learning to this method. Enjoy!
Question:	Is this easy to use
Answer:	Depends what you want it for. Simple sewing like clothing or piecing quilt tops should be okay - putting quilts together NO! The throat is not big enough for free motion quilting and it doesn’t do well with bulky material. Your needle will snap, bobbin will have a nervous breakdown and you’ll get error codes that will make you want to pull your hair out when you try to clear them. But if you set on buying this model or the CS6000i here is the skinny - it is easy to use if you stick to the book or YouTube for help and FOLLOW the step by step instructions. It’s a cute machine for newbies but an albatross around experienced quilters necks

Answer:	Because it's a review, some reviews aren't anything more than "it sucks". But for only 150 people out of 2,000 people don't like or understand the machine, that's pretty damn good.

Answer:	This would be a GREAT machine for a beginner. I've sewn for at least 60 yrs and have had machines that cost as much as $2,000, and to me this is the best. I'm an avid believer that one should read the manual first and recommend for you to do this. You will be able to nicely grow into this machine and should have no regrets with the purchase. I love idea that you can sew without using a presser foot, but can control your stitches on the front of the machine. Love to be able to see when the bobbin is getting low, various speeds, even some decorative stitches for you. It's quiet, fun, light weight for taking to classes, or for my motorhome. Question:	Where does the auxiliary spool pin fit? On the bobbin winder? There's no hole on the top of the housing
Answer:	The location of the Auxiliary spool pin hole, on the Singer Simple model 3232 sewing machine, is indicated in the instruction manual on page 4, number 16. There is a filler cap in this hole that you will need to remove in order to insert the Auxiliary spool pin. The filler cap appears to be just a small round circle. You will see a small hole in the filler cap where you insert a straight pin to pop it out of the machine. Question:	Is this machine dual voltage? (does) the voltage allow up to 220v
Answer:	It is not dual voltage, 110V only. I contacted Brother who said I can use a stepdown transformer, BUT they do not recommend it. Still, since I bought this on Amazon and I live in the Philippines, freight back was not something I wanted to lay on anyone. Therefore, I bought a 500 Watt step down transformer to ensure I made the 2 amp requirement for operation. I carefully plugged everything in and all work perfectly. The 500 watt transformer handles things beautifully. My lady loves the Brother and says it does everything she could want. She just made fitted sheets for our bed and they came out perfect. She highly recommends this machine.
Question:	Can you drop the feed dogs on this model, or only cover them up
Answer:	The feed dogs do not drop but there is a darning plate that covers them. I have done a bit of free motion quilting with it and it works well.

Answer:	No it won't. You need a ruler foot for templates. The ring on the base is thicker/higher and it doesn't move up and down.

Answer:	I cannot answer as I do not know anything about your machine. However, if you look at the last picture on the items main page you will see images that will explain the differences between low (which this is), high and slant foots. If yours has a low shank then it should fit.

Answer:	Yes it’s good , once in a while my pin pops off , just slide it back in . If you never used it before you have to practice before using it on your project .

Answer:	I have no idea what a Necchi is let alone a model number; IE X100. I found NecchiUSA web site and tried to find any info and failed. I couldn't even find a manual to download. I couldn't find an accessory for the X100; that is for sure. They have pictures that show an accessory similar to this one (Darning/quilting foot for low shank machines (refer to bottom picture for explanation). Please note that this foot will fit all 3 Singers I own and all 3 Pfaff machines and a Juki 2200QVP Mini; all home machines. Please note: All my machines are LOW shank and have a flat machined into the left side of the shank. Accessories must have a slotted wrap around element to accept the THUMB SCREW from the left side. Unfortunately I cannot tell from the Necchi web site if your model has it. I see on the accessory page they have accessories that seem to fit both ways and two pictures that show the flat on the right side; neither of which is listed to fit the X100. That web site does have a form to ask questions under support. Maybe try that. AND What I can tell you is that the standard for a low shank that fits Singer (and many other manufacturers who apply the standard) is this: Things to look for: Flat of the shank is on the left side. Thumb screw is on the left side. Low shank = 1/2" +/- above the sewing plate when the shank is fully down w/o any foot. AND I have to say, at this price why not give it a try? Answer:	This is an update to my previous answer, I finally figured out how to get static color and face value of the keys back, it's still rainbow, not a single color (FN Del or Ins - just before I was getting ready to throw it out the window!!). There are a multitude of keyboard lighting effects that change the "lightshow" on the rainbow keys (spiral, rain, brightness etc.) Personally I don't find any of it useful, flat out distracting - perhaps you'll like it. Answer:	Hello - I generally buy a cotton/poly blend - it is durable and quite easily found. Coates & Clarke is a vey well known brand. It would also help if you knew what kind of projects she might be undertaking...the weight of the thread varies with the task. I just googled "Brand names for sewing Threads"and there were a variety of experts writing on the subject if you want to take the exploration further...Good luck!
