Question:	Can you embroider with this machine
Answer:	Even though this machine is not an embroidery machine, you can learn to do beautiful embroidery work on it by learning free motion embroidery. In fact, one of the cool presser feet that comes with this machine is the open toe darning foot, which is a bonus!... People who wish to embroider, use this foot to do so. You Tube has many fine videos that will show you how to do free motion embroidery, on a regular machine, with just an everyday wooden hoop. Just type in free motion embroidery tutorials in the you tube search area, and you will be busy for hours, learning to this method. Enjoy!
Question:	Is this easy to use
Answer:	Depends what you want it for. Simple sewing like clothing or piecing quilt tops should be okay - putting quilts together NO! The throat is not big enough for free motion quilting and it doesn’t do well with bulky material. Your needle will snap, bobbin will have a nervous breakdown and you’ll get error codes that will make you want to pull your hair out when you try to clear them. But if you set on buying this model or the CS6000i here is the skinny - it is easy to use if you stick to the book or YouTube for help and FOLLOW the step by step instructions. It’s a cute machine for newbies but an albatross around experienced quilters necks

Answer:	Because it's a review, some reviews aren't anything more than "it sucks". But for only 150 people out of 2,000 people don't like or understand the machine, that's pretty damn good.
Question:	is this one suggested for a beginner
Answer:	This would be a GREAT machine for a beginner. I've sewn for at least 60 yrs and have had machines that cost as much as $2,000, and to me this is the best. I'm an avid believer that one should read the manual first and recommend for you to do this. You will be able to nicely grow into this machine and should have no regrets with the purchase. I love idea that you can sew without using a presser foot, but can control your stitches on the front of the machine. Love to be able to see when the bobbin is getting low, various speeds, even some decorative stitches for you. It's quiet, fun, light weight for taking to classes, or for my motorhome. Can't say enough, I JUST LOVE THIS MACHINE, it's all I could ever want. Please read the manual. Hope this helps. JMD

Answer:	I bought this Juki HZL-G220 specifically for free-motion quilting and I am enjoying it. My biggest disappointment was that when I ordered a box of “Juki” quilting attachment feet, I should have ordered from Sew N Vac Direct in the first place. They are the vendor who sent my Juki machine through Amazon and they are the vendor who answered all my Juki questions, such as whether the walking foot I wanted would match my machine model. If you’re buying any Juki parts for free-motion quilting, as I did, I would recommend SewNVac as the vendor you use (your Amazon order will show “shipped from” so you know the company)....don’t go with an unknown and end up with a handful of attachment feet that aren’t even Juki brand and don’t match the picture. Question:	Does it chime with a 1/4 foot
Answer:	I chose the HZL-G220 because it was a big deal for me to have the built in thread cutting button. I did all the comparisons you are doing and this was the only difference I could tell from the description. It was SO SO worth the extra money to be able to push that scissor button to end my thread line, move my fabric to a new place, and begin a new stitch without pulling everything out, finding the scissors, cutting the threads and restarting every time I came to a new place. Wish I had invested in this years ago - quilting would have been more fun.

Question:	Where does the auxiliary spool pin fit? On the bobbin winder? There's no hole on the top of the housing
Answer:	The location of the Auxiliary spool pin hole, on the Singer Simple model 3232 sewing machine, is indicated in the instruction manual on page 4, number 16. There is a filler cap in this hole that you will need to remove in order to insert the Auxiliary spool pin. The filler cap appears to be just a small round circle. You will see a small hole in the filler cap where you insert a straight pin to pop it out of the machine. Question:	Is this machine dual voltage? (does) the voltage allow up to 220v
Answer:	It is not dual voltage, 110V only. I contacted Brother who said I can use a stepdown transformer, BUT they do not recommend it. Still, since I bought this on Amazon and I live in the Philippines, freight back was not something I wanted to lay on anyone. Therefore, I bought a 500 Watt step down transformer to ensure I made the 2 amp requirement for operation. I carefully plugged everything in and all work perfectly. The 500 watt transformer handles things beautifully. My lady loves the Brother and says it does everything she could want. She just made fitted sheets for our bed and they came out perfect. She highly recommends this machine.
Question:	Can you drop the feed dogs on this model, or only cover them up
Answer:	The feed dogs do not drop but there is a darning plate that covers them. I have done a bit of free motion quilting with it and it works well.

Question:	Will these work in Kennore machines
Answer:	I have the 6 inch pair because I wanted to cut short cuts. This pair is very sharp and keeps it's edge well. I have not used them to cut leather, but if you are cutting out small items I would go with this pair. For long cuts a larger pair would probably be better. The cuts I made with them were through 3-6 layers of flannel and about 1/2 " in length. They were great for this purpose. Hope this helps.
Question:	Needle size for 14 oz denim
Answer:	Overall, I think the 10" would be best for your project. This is a scissors you will probably use for heavy fabrics only. While it is not difficult to open and close it is a little tighter than other scissors. Initially I thought I would use my 8" Amplify for most fabrics but because of the tighter pull I use my regular sewing scissors 99% of the time. Still...if you sew you will be glad you have it when working with the heavier weight fabrics.
Question:	can these needles be used on a serger
Answer:	Ramarco and "Amazon Customer" are both incompetent. I purchased these scissors based on their answers and I'm severely disappointed. The blade length is 1 3/4" and the longest cut they'll make is 1 5/8".
Question:	Will these work on Kenmore model 17840 bought late
Answer:	Try taking 'shorter' cuts with the snips. I love my snips, however I've found that 6 - 8 layers can be to challenging for the snips; but they are still 100% better than any other shears I us to use including my Gingher's. Hope this helps!

Answer:	No it won't. You need a ruler foot for templates. The ring on the base is thicker/higher and it doesn't move up and down.

Answer:	I cannot answer as I do not know anything about your machine. However, if you look at the last picture on the items main page you will see images that will explain the differences between low (which this is), high and slant foots. If yours has a low shank then it should fit.

Answer:	Yes it’s good , once in a while my pin pops off , just slide it back in . If you never used it before you have to practice before using it on your project .

Answer:	I have no idea what a Necchi is let alone a model number; IE X100. I found NecchiUSA web site and tried to find any info and failed. I couldn't even find a manual to download. I couldn't find an accessory for the X100; that is for sure. They have pictures that show an accessory similar to this one (Darning/quilting foot for low shank machines (refer to bottom picture for explanation). Please note that this foot will fit all 3 Singers I own and all 3 Pfaff machines and a Juki 2200QVP Mini; all home machines. Please note: All my machines are LOW shank and have a flat machined into the left side of the shank. Accessories must have a slotted wrap around element to accept the THUMB SCREW from the left side. Unfortunately I cannot tell from the Necchi web site if your model has it. I see on the accessory page they have accessories that seem to fit both ways and two pictures that show the flat on the right side; neither of which is listed to fit the X100. That web site does have a form to ask questions under support. Maybe try that. AND What I can tell you is that the standard for a low shank that fits Singer (and many other manufacturers who apply the standard) is this: Things to look for: Flat of the shank is on the left side. Thumb screw is on the left side. Low shank = 1/2" +/- above the sewing plate when the shank is fully down w/o any foot. AND I have to say, at this price why not give it a try?
