Question:	Is this machine dual voltage? (does) the voltage allow up to 220v
Answer:	It is not dual voltage, 110V only. I contacted Brother who said I can use a stepdown transformer, BUT they do not recommend it. Still, since I bought this on Amazon and I live in the Philippines, freight back was not something I wanted to lay on anyone. Therefore, I bought a 500 Watt step down transformer to ensure I made the 2 amp requirement for operation. I carefully plugged everything in and all work perfectly. The 500 watt transformer handles things beautifully. My lady loves the Brother and says it does everything she could want. She just made fitted sheets for our bed and they came out perfect. She highly recommends this machine.
Question:	Can you drop the feed dogs on this model, or only cover them up
Answer:	The feed dogs do not drop but there is a darning plate that covers them. I have done a bit of free motion quilting with it and it works well.
Question:	Does it come with a walking foot for quilting

Question:	I love this machine but i have alot of tension problems - the thread on bottom keeps bunching up - i'm sure its inexperience but can someone help me please
Answer:	It can definitely handle multiple layers of fabric, and fabric of different types. It can even handle different amounts of layers in the same sewed piece--the main presser foot has a knob you pull out to hold the foot at the level you want. The topstitch footer assumes multiple layers of fabric. You may need to guide the fabric through a bit to make sure it doesn't get stuck, but otherwise, does fine. For denim, I'm assuming you're asking about hemming jeans. I didn't cut off the original hem, so the machine struggled a bit at the seams since at that point it was 6+ denim layers. I just went back and reinforced those areas by hand. I haven't tried leather specifically, but I imagine it would work as long as you have the right needle.
Question:	what is the throat space
Answer:	I believe so. I never have to adjust the tension.

Answer:	Juki is a Japanese company with factories in Japan, Vietnam, and China. All their machines are designed in Japan and produced in one of those three factories. I believe this model comes out of the China Factory. Thanks, Oren

Answer:	It does have a hard cover although there is an opening on top for the carry handle (which is attached to the machine). I put a small hand towel over mine just to make sure it stays clean and dust free. I really do love this sewing machine and hope to keep it for a long time!

Question:	Has anyone had problems with this machine? I had to return the first one to Juki because the machining of the needle hole was wrong
Answer:	I haven’t had great luck with knits. I ended up putting tissue paper strips on both sides of fabric to sew some rubbing on a T-shirt. I think the feed dog teeth are too sharp. Had to use my serger. Disappointed but other than that it’s fantastic. Used it for fine silk and it was amazing.
Question:	How much oil should I be using? Is it possible to over oil it, and would that do any damage to the machine
Answer:	Yes, it does. There is also a little lever inside the bobbin area that you can slide to one side which gives you a more exact straight stitch. Then, when you forget to slide it back (say, to do zig-zag), the machine won't go until you slide it back the other way. That's great for me, because I forget once I get up from the sewing machine chair! Hope this helps. I'm really enjoying this machine and believe me, there's been a learning curve for me. It sewed through three layers of webbing to repair a dog collar the other day without a hiccup.

Question:	Where does the auxiliary spool pin fit? On the bobbin winder? There's no hole on the top of the housing
Answer:	The location of the Auxiliary spool pin hole, on the Singer Simple model 3232 sewing machine, is indicated in the instruction manual on page 4, number 16. There is a filler cap in this hole that you will need to remove in order to insert the Auxiliary spool pin. The filler cap appears to be just a small round circle. You will see a small hole in the filler cap where you insert a straight pin to pop it out of the machine.
