Question:	I just want to cut Card stock silhouettes for Halloween. Will this work
Answer:	Yes, if you have the Halloween dies you will be able to cut the cardstock.
Question:	How does it compare to the cuttlebug? now that the cuttlebug has been discontinued, i ordered the big shot instead. wise decision
Answer:	Absolutely! The biggest difference is going to be the larger footprint because the Bog Shot does not fold up like the Cuttlebug. Sizzix introduced a collapsible Big Shot last year but they don’t seem to be marketing it very hard. It’s called a “Foldaway”. But regardless, I’d be absolutely flummoxed if the Big Shot disappointed you at all.
Question:	How many layers cut at one time
Answer:	No more than 2 cardstock depends on thickness of the paper. If you constantly have too much paper it might warp the balance of the rollers
Question:	What is the size of the plate
Answer:	The standard plates measure 6 1/8 inch by 8 7/8 inch. I just got out a ruler and measured them since the manufacturer apparently didn't have sense to include this useful info. Note that the platform or shim on which you use the plates is called "extended" because it can work with plates that are longer. There seems to be some confusion about size of the die plates versus platform. The platform and shim assembly is 6 1/4 inches wide with a usable length of 12 inches. I'm not sure what you use extended plates for, probably something like border dies or extra-large designs that the crafter has planned. Tip: at some point get a spare set of plates, probably standard size. They do get cut up after a while from the dies. Eventually all the little cuts will make impressions in your paper, thus marring the project. Just fyi in case you didn't already know. Also fyi just because I'm thinking sbout it, you do have to flip the plates over occasionally because they start to develop a slight curl after while if you keep using the same side. Maybe this doesn't matter but flat plates seem to make it easier to lay out the design for die cutting. Note: you will hear a disconcerting CRACK when you crank a die through the machine. It sounds bad but is normal. Proceed carefully and use the correct shim combination for the die and paper combo that you are using. I think it's possble for the die, paper, and shim pack to be too thick. Although some cranking effort is required, if you have to force the handle iit might pay to double check the total thickness fo what you're trying to run through the machine.

Answer:	They are great...I inflate mine...I have very, very long shoe strings, from kids playing sports, roll up the tote-N-float, tie it with shoe string, throw in car, I have not added any air for 2 seasons!!

Answer:	I had to shove the skinniest nozzle of my pump and squeeze the valve. It took over 10 minutes to air up each one. It also took forever to deflate these things. However they held the air very very well for 5 days!

Answer:	The machine I purchased came with the standard sliding tray,1 standard cutting pad, 1 premium crease pad, 1 standard adapter pad, 2 mylar shims, and 1 die pick. As a separate order I also purchased the Accessory set with a Solo Platform, Shim and Wafer Thin Die Adapter so I could cut with my Framelits and thin dies.
Question:	What is the weight
Answer:	We used our bathroom scales to weigh the machine. The machine by itself weighs 26 lbs. The tray and platforms needed for the machine weigh an additional 10.6 lbs.
Question:	What accessories are included with this white/grey big shot pro
Answer:	Not much as I recall. But that is OK because you should look at the booklet to decide what you want to use it for. I think I received 2 of the big extended clear plastic cutting pads, the extended tray and adapter pad. In order to cut right out of the box, I had to thicken my sandwich with manila file folders. I read the booklet and then I bought more of those big cutting pads. I wouldn't bother with the smaller sizes as you can always put little work under a big pad, but not the reverse. I also bought mylar shims, a silicone rubber sheet and a crease pad to allow for embossing and creasing. This thing is heavy duty and cuts beautifully. I have been cranking out Christmas cards and snowflakes all month. I have 3 electronic cutter and 2 other small hand operated die cutters, but this is my favorite. I can even make prints from etchings and lino cuts.
Question:	Does this work well for cutting fabric
Answer:	It works wonderfully on fabric. I cut 73 fat quarters for a large queen quilt with a custom die in 2hrs flat. It can cut up to 8 layers of fabric at a time. I cut 6 or 8 layers easily, and most importantly, accurately. The quilt is going together like butter since all the pieces are perfectly cut. Also, I noticed a lot less fabric fraying. I also bought a die for 2 1/2" strips for binding and turning left over fabric into jelly roll strips for another quilt. You can use Accuquilt dies in it but you can't use Sizzix dies in Accuquilt, that's the main reason I bought it. It is worth every penny! LOVE IT!

Question:	Do i need to purchase " sizzix 657160 accessory, solo wafer-thin die adapter " for cutting spellbinder dies with vagabond
Answer:	It is a "shim" that's necessary for cutting wafer thins but it comes with the Vagabond when you buy it. Good youtubes to watch are put out by Scrapbooking made Simple. Love my vagabond 2!
Question:	How well does this work with Anna Griffin dies
Answer:	I have had no trouble with many brands of thin, intricate dies. All of the brands may have issues with cutting completely, but it's the dies that are the issue, not the Vagabond. Go to YouTube to get suggestions for solving this issue...placing dies closer go the edges, using additional paper or scotch tape shims, etc. I bought the Vagabond 2 because my original Vagabond, nearly 10 years old, gave up the ghost after thousands of cuts. I love my Vagabond and would recommend it highly.
Question:	Is this machine an improvement over the original Vagabond? How so
Answer:	Yes...it is quieter and less likely to jam. My old Vagabond got knocked on the floor by my cat and just quit working. The improvements are significant. but I wouldn't replace a working Vagabond with this one...As long as your machine works, use it.
Question:	What comes with this? Does it include the adapter and clear cutting plates
Answer:	Mine came with the platform, two clear cutting plates and the thin adapter for using the thin dies. I purchased the longer cutting plates separately.

Lets Prepare

First, gather all the items you need to get started. This includes the chosen material you want to cut, selected dies, Big Shot machine of choice, tools such as the Paper Sculpting Kit and Glue Gun and any embellishments you may want along the way! With hundreds of designs to choose from in our extensive product library, you will find a die for every project and occasion, from basic shapes and animals, to alphabets and intricate designs.

Make Your Sandwich

Make the perfect Sizzix sandwich by placing your chosen die and your chosen material such as card stock between your cutting pads and place on top of your platform, following the instructions printed on the platform. If you are using a Bigz die then you will not need a platform, instead just simply create a Sizzix sandwich with your two cutting pads, a Bigz die and chosen material, such as card stock, fabric and leather!

Lets Get Cutting

Time to get cutting! Simply feed your sandwich through your machine by turning the handle and be met with your beautifully cut design on the other side in a matter of seconds. To reveal your die-cut simply take your cutting pads and die away, leaving you with your desired design. If you use an intricate wafer-thin and chemically-etched die, you may wish to use the Sizzix Die Brush or Die Pick to effortlessly remove any excess paper.

Answer:	Hello Eileen, I have tried but I personally wouldn't recommend it.. because the dies are thin, you need to make the plates thicker and when I tried it I ended up slightly damaging the machine, not enough so I can't use it to embosse, but enough to not try die cutting again.. hope this helps you. 
