Answer:	No. To turn a standard analog-output electric guitar into a Music Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) synth controller, you need an analog-to-MIDI converter. Fishman makes a wireless MIDI converter (about $230) and Roland makes a wired MIDI converter system with pickup (about $350). There may be other systems out there, too.

On Mac it is possible to use the Audio MIDI Setup tool (Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities) to connect the DU-ONE as a MIDI device connected over Bluetooth. Once connected as a MIDI device, most music software can receive data from the instrument for transcription. For Windows, it is likely possible as well, however we do not have a confirmation from Maker Hart yet regarding how it can be done. Answer:	Definitely! 16 times/tracks. You can also do 2 tracks simultaneously, and if you have software on your computer, you can send two simultaneous tracks realtime into the software.

But, you can copy the entire recording several times into new projects then trim them to just the portion you want.

Question:	What is the function the “Lock” tab
Answer:	The ATOM just comes with the unit, a cable, and a basic instruction manual. What you should do is register with PreSonus after purchase. When you create your account, you'll get a downloadable link to Studio One Artist and additional content. Head's up - in total, there is around 7GB worth of software & content to download. IF you plan to use the Studio One Artist software, I think you'll find everything that you need to get started there (though I have not tried it personally. I downloaded all of the software, but haven't really used it much at all, as I'm a Cubase 10 Pro owner). From videos I've watched, and the little bit I've read, the promoted software looks interesting, but if you're already using something more serious, like Cakewalk, Cubase, ProTools or whatever, I'd say don't even waste your time with the downloads, other than the ATOM driver (I think that was one of the downloads...). In my setup, I'm just using the ATOM as a straight pad controller, and the only buttons that matter to me are the 4x4 big ones in the center of the unit. I may find more use later, but for now, this is just a perfect hardware extension for me to play my Groove Agent drum sounds from, as it perfectly matches the Groove Agent on screen GUI.
Question:	Would this be suitable for a 9 year old kid
Answer:	No. I am not sure how you are trying to use this. But if you are triggering songs, you will still need a way of controlling the volume. I assume you would be running this through a mixer. So my recommendation is to use your outboard mixer to fade in and out. If you are determined to use this that way, you could also just edit your songs for a fade out.
Question:	Why is this more expensive than buying directly from Teenage Engineering
Answer:	Look on line for a used one with no software.
Question:	Can you record any sound into the mic? or only from the software
Answer:	I only purchased this for our house band. I called the band lead guy that asked me to order this. He says the pad is large enough to accept 2 strikers. I hope that makes sense to you.

With this being a cooking wine (probably alcohol by volume 10%) the amount used is minimal compared to the quantity of food and is used only as a flavor enhancer. The cooking wine mostly evaporates therefore no one should really notice it in the food.

Internal: Sets this system as the master.

Auto: Sets an external device as the master, when the device is  connected. In a regular setting, this system is set as the master.
