Answer:	the colors are exactly like the ones you see in the colored designs. they are very easy to use and don't break even when applying pressure. I would most definitely recommend using these pencils. and the price is good as well. I am very pleased with these pencils. you won't be disappointed.

Answer:	Yes, these D1 label tapes can work great with DYMO LabelManager 150 label makers. For any problem or need on our label tapes, kindly feel free to contact us.
Question:	Are the tips small enough to work with a spirograph
Answer:	My guess is that the actual print will, since it's a direct transfer of carbon-ink onto the tape surface. Now the sticky side is a different story, it probably won't stay stuck to whatever you applied it to.

Answer:	Hi, in general, the operating temperature of the D1 labels is about -80 ℃ to 100 ℃. It is OK to use these labels on the dishwasher occasionally. But we DO NOT suggest to use them in the dishwasher or washing machine frequently. Please do not to scrub on the label too much under the very high or low temperature, or the print will fade away after several washes. Hope it is helpful. Thanks.

Answer:	No. The adhesive is dry and kept fresh by paper which you peel off.

Answer:	I seldom remove my labels. When I have they have been relatively easy to remove. I removed an old label today just to see and it came off easily without leaving bothersome residue. You should be okay.

Answer:	Each one is wrapped in plastic. I would assume that will protect them as long as the wrapper does not get punctured.

Question:	Is it all plastic or there are some metal parts
Answer:	Only the chrome tip part is metal, the rest is plastic. I had my other for 4 years and use it everyday with no issues. This was a back up.
Question:	Has the quality declined on these from the ones I had in the 90's
Answer:	If what you were using were the Papermate PhD pencils, these are as close as you can come to those. These are well made and I have used the same one for over a year. The differences between the Papermate and the Pilot products are basically Three. ONE: The eraser - In the Papermate product the eraser was exposed on top and was much broader than the Pilot pencil that has smaller diameter eraser that has a cover that has to be removed to use. TWO-The barrel. The small barrel from which the lead actually exits is different between these two pencils. On the Papermate PhD pencil, the small diameter barrel retracts into the body of the pencil. On the Pilot product is does not and stays sticking out where it can poke you at most inconvenient times an in inconvenient places. THREE: The grip. The grip on both of these pencils is padded and reasonably large. The Pilot pencil has a slightly larger in diameter grip than the Papermate PhD. The Pilot grip is cylindrical whereas the Papermate grip is somewhat triangular so that it does not slip in your fingers. Personally I preferred the Papermate product but that is no longer available. The Pilot product is the best I can find out there at the moment and is of good quality.

Question:	Is this item a shaker pencil? There are two versions, however they don't distinguish the difference between the limited and the normal one
Answer:	All of the Dr. Grips I have purchased in the past 6 years have been shaker pencils. However, you can open the pencil and remove the barrel that makes it a shaker if you don't want that feature.

Answer:	The label creating machines (of this type) all use a "heat" technology where there are chemicals in the tape material that is sensitive to heat. The "print head" has many fine wires that are heated as the tape moves across it, causing a chemical change that turns the heated area black. (This is similar to the technology that nearly all cash registers (supermarket, etc.) use for printing receipts and is also used in the "label writers" that Dymo also makes. These never need replacement of ribbons or ink cartridges. They never "dry up" over time -- and under normal use never become clogged (well, I've never had one get clogged). The downside is that some heat-set tapes can be rendered unreadable by exposure to heat or long-term exposure to the sun. So storage of label material in a hot automobile interior or used where long term direct sunlight exposure is involved may require more frequent replacement of labels. The plastic labels are also subject to heat damage and sunlight exposure, but are more stable than the paper labels, so try to match the label stock to the intended use.
Question:	Are all refillable
Answer:	These are regular paper labels with adhesive that normally would be used for things like labels on medical charts or other files (indoor). I suppose you could experiment with them, maybe put clear shellac or nail polish over the labels, but I wouldn't think there could be any guarantee that these labels would work for the outdoor purpose around water and dirt you are proposing.
Question:	Is the ink waterproof
Answer:	There is no ink. These are filled individual cartilages with a tape that works with the machine.
