Question:	What is the best thing to apply this with to get a smooth surface
Answer:	These are very nice colored pencils. Many colors in the box I purchased. Better price at amazon than art store (on sale). They are very smooth (using regular paper) and even without art training, you can blend colors by using different shades on top of one another. Good idea to purchase a sharpener with the can of pencils.
Question:	Will this work on an already smooth glossy surface
Answer:	I found a portfolio to hold the pencils here on Amazon......I bought 2 and they each hold 220 pencils 0r144 gel pens it's called Shulaner Color pencil case and they were $22.98 each and I love them......Hope this helps.

Answer:	According to Google, the pencils are made in China. As for the rest supplies, that wasn't clear. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes They are wax base pencils. They lay down nicely an play well with Prismacolors and Black Widows. I have 8 of the 9 theme sets an don't regret the purchases one bit. I think you will enjoy the color range as well as actually coloring with them. Have fun.

Answer:	Thank you! Shabby Chic is imported from the UK and that process can be slow, however we expect to have more Pebble Grey in stock around Saturday 10/19.

Answer:	No this is not chalkboard paint. However the makers of Shabby Chic also make chalkboard paint in 8 beautiful colors including Grey, available here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MXLH0RS Shabby Chic Chalk Based Furniture paint is genuine quality made in the UK. Water-based chalk paint with virtually no odour. The paint can be used directly onto Wood (bare or painted), brick, stone, plaster or any suitably primed rigid surface (eg.metal, plastic, ect). Create a distressed look by applying two coats in contrasting colours then sanding / scoring when dry. Paint Preparation: For best results, ensure surface is clean and free from wax or oil. If wax has been used clean the surface thoroughly with white spirit. We recommend that bare wood should be sanded before painting. Application: Stir thoroughly prior to use. The product may be applied by brush or roller. If applying by brush, apply evenly following the grain of the wood. If rolling, use a short nap mohair roller. To create a distressed look apply two coats in contrasting colours. Allow to dry then lightly abrade with moistened sand paper or stainless steel scoring pad - abrade with the grain of the wood. Coverage: up to 12m2 per litre. Coverage may vary depending upon method and rate of application and porosity of surface. Drying Time: Touch dry in 1 hour. Handle after 2 hours. Apply a second coat after 2 hours if necessary. Full hardness after 3 hours. Clean Up: with water. Do not empty into drains or water courses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings.

Answer:	I have not used this for a table . I used it on 2 dressers. Since it is chalk paint, I would recommend using some kind of sealer as you will be washing your table. The chalk paint will wipe off. I have used two different sealers. Polyurethane and another Behrs matte sealer that does not give it a shine if you want to stay with matte.
Question:	Can i use this on a plastic kids table
Answer:	I just did a super light sanding. I painted a hall table and didn’t have to use much paint at all. The table had the same color as the new paint but it was glossy paint before. I recommend it.

Answer:	This is intended for ages 6 and up.

Answer:	Buy a soft lead pro art pencil sharpener they cost about $2.50 and will keep the lead from falling out. It’s a must have with this set.
Question:	What is the difference in the different whites? Which one is a true white
Answer:	Depending how hard you press the color onto the paper and the type of paper they can erase fairly. If you erase then color over it it will hide the faint and sometimes still noticeable color. These pencils do very well in coloring over one another. Experiment and you will able to know your limits with these pencils. Surprisingly for being wax based they do fairly decently with erasing unlike the school brand colored pencils do. Like I said before it depends on how hard you press on the paper and what kind of paper. I find that it works well on Bristol Vellum with a rubber artist eraser.

Answer:	If the color of your wall is not darker than the paint, it may not require primer.

Answer:	Yes. It's only a rough estimate but it's pretty acurate.
Question:	How does this work vs spray polyurethane and other spray sealers
Answer:	erases like a normal chalkboard, and you can use water to wipe it down if you wish. Wipe gently as you would any painted surface. You can try it out on a scrap board to test it out. I love this stuff! Painted a 10' wall in my apartment and it is so much fun.
Question:	what kind of sealer for ceramics im going to paint with acrilic paints
Answer:	Yes the paint is quiet sticky when applying. You have to keep stirring the paint from time to time to prevent it from drying up or turn thicker... Wall will be smooth after dry. Do let a few days for the paint to be totally dry.

Answer:	This is a thick liquid...but spreads well...it says it can be applied to unfinished wood...But, I used it over chalk paint, did go on a bit darker than I liked, so next time I will use the minwax antique paste wax, when I want a lighter antique finish. Instructions.. did recommend, if using over chalk paint and want a lighter antique look...use clear wax first. Hope this helps.

Question:	Does it seal styrofoam without melting it
Answer:	I have never used it on canvas only paper. But if you paint first with acrylic like the directions say; I don't see why it would not work. It's the way the it interacts with acrylic paint that makes the crackle.
Question:	Can i use this for repainting a doll’s face
Answer:	Crackle itself is clear. The point of using it – Crackle is tearing apart the layer of paint that you put ON THE TOP of it, giving it “crackled” look. If you don’t put any paint UNDER the Crackle, your little crackles will look clear on the vase. Just keep in mind: crackles on glass (vase, plates) are always bigger than on wood. Try to put your top layer of paint with short strokes, don't go twice on the same spot. Hope, it helped.

Answer:	It does not have strong fumes and I did it inside my house. I think in needs warmer than 45 degrees but I don't know that for sure.

Answer:	This product should work to seal ceramics. I'd give 24 hours to dry before painting with acrylic. Warning: acrylic paint won't withstand weathering, so I'd reseal over painted surface with polyurethane (this product) and wait for it to dry before exposure to outdoors. Good luck!
