Answer:	Depends how dark the metal is, I used them to paint white coffee mugs and they worked great. I have the pink, green, blue colors. So they are diff than what's in that pic metallic, red, black etc. sorry I can't help more. I'd think you'd be fine but not 100%

Answer:	I haven't tried these for mugs. I have tried regular Sharpie and it did not work; it washed off in the dishwasher. I bought these to use on the desks in my classroom, to write the kids' names on them.

Answer:	I tried writing our name on the bottom of an acylic plastic cup that we take to church dinners, etc., and it wrote well and dried well. However the ink coloring wasn't as dark as I would have liked. My cup was a green color, though. If you have frosted finish or clear glasses, you may be very pleased. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Worth a try. Use first on another piece of fabric.
Question:	If I were to paint a dish, how many times would I be able to wash the dish before it wares off? Is it safe to use on dishes
Answer:	I painted coffee cups with mine and baked the finished product in the oven on 200 for 30 minutes. I ONLY hand wash them and I have had no issues with the designs wearing off. Just do not put them in the dishwasher, scrub them or use harsh detergent.

Answer:	They are really good on plastic or any surface. I didnt have any complaints.

Question:

Will this work well to mark steel

Answer:

I use this paint marker to mark on metal. While it does last longer than a normal Sharpie it does have limitations. Permanent does not equal forever. Make sure the area that is to be marked is dust and oil free. I clean my metal before marking with Isopropyl Alcohol (Rubbing Alcohol) before marking. They will also put out too much ink when you depress the tip for more paint. So if you need more paint depress in on something other than what your marking. Wipe the excess off from around the plunger and then resume your marking. When you have too much paint it comes out more pink than red for some reason, but once the tip is saturated and pulling it's supply by itself it comes out red. Be sure to shake often if your marking for any period of time or right before you depress the tip for more paint. I would practice a bit so you understand what/how it works. Clean up is easiest while it still wet, and the Rubbing alcohol works great for that as well. I've used this model and larger ones for years along with all of the color options. As long as the surfaces are clean and dry it will mark any type of material, even dry silicone. Good luck

Answer:	I don't see why not, I have used them on a plethora of surfaces and they have worked wonderfully.

Answer:	Yes. Very well. I painted on an old leather pocketbook. One thing I didn’t do that I should have is clean the leather first. Not sure if it would have made a difference but I’m sure it would have been better. After painting, you need to seal the painted designs. I used a fleibers product but after using the bag for a bit, it has started wearing but only a little bit. Maybe I needed more coats of sealant? Or something stronger? But overall I was very happy with these pens!!

Answer:	I used them on semi-rough painted rocks and on smooth urethane and nail polish and they worked beautifully.
